Stopping on the way back from Spain before heading on to the Eurotunnel. It was 40C in Tours but the aircon in the room was excellent. Rooms were small but spotless, and provided just what we needed (somewhere to clean-up and rest overnight). Would use again if travelling across France. Reception staff were friendly and competent.

Never having stayed in an Ibis Budget hotel, I wasn't sure what to expect, though I did understand from the name it was not going to be the Ritz. However, on arrival, the lady who checked me in was friendly, helpful and informed me of everything I needed to know. It was also comforting to know that the car park was locked at night - nice bit of security. The room was basic, no getting away from that, but the bedding was clean, towels plentiful, basic toiletries etc. Didn't need anymore for an overnight stay. I had expected the walls to be paper thin but no, I didn't hear a thing, no doors, no coming and going - it all made for an excellent nights sleep in a bed that proved to be very comfortable. Staying there again on my way home in three weeks. Would definitely use this chain of hotels again on future visits.

A night rest during a road trip for the Algarve for 3. Tiny room with small shower in the room with curtain divider. Double bed with bunk bed overhead. We didn't need more for the night. The breakfast offering was limited but sufficient. The good score is thanks to the unbeatable price...

It was around 40°c outside, and I was extremely uncomfortable until we arrived at the hotel, where it was wonderfully cool. The bedroom air conditioning was excellent and I soon cooled down. After a lovely cool shower we went over to the Mercure Hotel next door and had a lovely meal with a 15% discount as guests of the Ibis. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We arrived for a one night stop off. It’s our second visit to the hotel, it has everything you could wish for clean comfortable and helpful staff. The morning breakfast covered all our needs and set us up for the day ahead.

This hotel is perfect for an overnight stay just off the autoroute: quiet, clean, friendly and a good breakfast. There is electric car charging but the Accor website should include more information about speed and cost. It was one of the most expensive charges I encountered on this trip, having travelled extensively in France and Spain, akin to motorway pricing. A per-minute excess charge is also not very traveller friendly: if you require a long charge having arrived in the evening, this means having to come out in the middle of the night to unplug!

The charging station clearly displays the price per minute and per kilowatt-hour (kWh) in both French and English. It also indicates that if the vehicle is fully charged, the charging fee will apply as long as your vehicle remains connected to the station. These charging stations are independent of our hotel. Easily accessible. The room was clean and a very comfortable bed. Shower pod on the small side for larger people but other than that all really good. Pleasant and helpful reception staff. Parking safe and secure.
