We are genuinely sorry to hear that your experience did not meet the standards you have come to expect from ibis, especially as you have stayed with the brand several times before. We are particularly disappointed to hear that you felt unwelcome and that the attitude of some members of our team gave you the impression that guests were an inconvenience. This is absolutely not the level of hospitality we expect from our team, and we sincerely apologize. We also regret the issues you experienced with the room. Regarding the room cleaning, we would like to clarify that our rooms are cleaned upon request. Information about this procedure is provided on a flyer placed on the bed. However, we fully understand that this may not have been sufficiently clear during your stay, and we are sorry for any inconvenience this caused. We are also very sorry that, following maintenance work, you returned to your room to find the bathroom light still dismantled and paperwork left on the bed. Due to the issue that had occurred, we went through all rooms together with the responsible company to ensure that everything was checked and taken care of. Unfortunately, your room was mistakenly overlooked during this process. We sincerely apologize for this oversight. We also understand your frustration regarding the towels. Having to change them yourself because the used towels were left behind is certainly not the service you should have received. Your comments regarding the behaviour and communication of our team are particularly concerning to us. We take these remarks very seriously and will discuss them with our team. Every guest should feel respected, welcome and well looked after throughout their stay, and we are sorry that this was not your experience. My experience with the morning receptionist on 18/7 was extremely unpleasant. She insisted that my booking didn’t include parking and breakfast while it certainly did. I explained that the night receptionist verified that on the computer and validated my parking ticket. She insisted that she doesn’t she it on the computer. I had to go bring my phone to show her my reservation confirmation email. She then reluctantly admitted that i was right but she never apologized for the rude behavior. The whole dialogue was quite humiliating for me because it happened next to the breakfast buffet in front or the other hotel guests. I was really disappointed and at the whole situation. She needs to learn customer service skills to serve in this position. I am a silver member and I don’t accept to be humiliated by anyone. I am going to forward this message to all accor.

I have booked in App and it's showing the price includes service fees and tax already. But when I arrived, the hotel wanted to charge around 40euro more money saying it's "city tax". The pillow is too hard and I wanted to change a soft one, which was rejected by the employee.

Location was good, just out of the city. Check-in was ok although the reception staff member was quite cool, not communicative and snapped demands for completion of check-in form. No information given re which floor was our room, what time breakfast was served etc. Room was comfortable.

The service attitude from reception is terrible compared to an Asian standard. Most of the answer you might get is "I don't know" or "I am busy. please come back later". Other than that, the overall quality is good and not so far from DB station. There are also KFC and convenient store at nearby gas station so would be easy for us to get something. For tourist, it's not so recommended but fair enough for a business trip.

It was OK. It’s seven because the staff was very friendly and helpful, but the place itself isn’t for me. And they need to fix that smell coming from the bathroom drains. Decent breakfast.

Decent location being close to S-Bahn Station. Staff, on the whole, were very good although the one who checked us in wasn't the best. Booking wasn't correct as tried to charge us for breakfast, which we had already paid for. Rooms were typical Ibis - clean with a decent bathroom and no frills. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss, hot food was often cold and one morning had obviously been reheated from previous day's leftovers. Pastry selection was good one day then reduced on other two, appreciate may be winding down for Christmas but we're still paying the same for it. For the price, the hotel was fine.
