Nice hotel, good location and spacious room. Swimming pool was very cold but clean. Disappointing that staff during breakfast could not take 2 seconds to congratulate an excited five year old wearing a birthday crown. On the first morning of our stay, it was my daughter’s 5th birthday. She was wearing her birthday crown to breakfast, very excited about her day, but none of the staff could have been bothered to wish her a happy birthday. Very disappointing.

I wish I had been able to stay longer and try all the facilities! Unfortunately, I was there for only 12 hours The room was comfortable and clean We were greeted professionally upon our very late arrival, and the ladies on reception and in the dining room in the morning were lovely and helpful, thank you It is a nice quiet location, with easy parking on site We weren't there very long, but it was comfortable and reasonably priced, and the staff were very professional We arrived too late to eat in the evening, but the breakfast was very good. We arrived after midnight, but were greeted cordially and professionally

Will D Business - TripAdvisor review

Solid 3.5/5 option near central Köln. The hotel is comfortably located in a quiet residential area, but adjacent to some nice street cafes and not far from the centre and cathedral area. Rooms themselves are comfortable and spacious, but a bit tatty/worn. Our aircon never worked and the toilet was in need of a new handle; we reported this to staff and they seemed unconcerned and took no action. Service in general was lackluster but fine, also in the bar. Great breakfast - one of the biggest that I’ve seen in a Mercure. On the whole, I’d stay again, but if you’re looking for something a bit stylish or contemporary, then this is probably not the place for you!
