Staff were hardly at the checkin desk (most of the time they were in the back office) and the checkin lately was quite rude. Not sure if it was her German way of saying things in English but “ I told you” would probably sound rude in any language. Breakfast was descent and the lady frying the eggs was nice. The one working at the restaurant was also nice and smily. Room looked older than in the pics and you could hear the car driving on the highway. Hotel was not that bad but it wasn’t enjoyable either.

Well, we arrived after midnight. There was a broken lamp with cables exposed in the corridor between our rooms. I informed reception. On the next morning the lamp was still on the floor, it was removed when we were back in the afternoon. Also - bad smell in the rooms, lack of ventilation, the furniture feels old and exhausted, and the furnishing of the rooms is more ibis Budget or at best Novotel, definitely not Mercure level! We were not informed about the welcome drinks, had to ask about them, and could only get them after 17h, as the bar was closed until then. In general: passable, but definitely not a good experience!
