Stayed here for the Xmas markets, people are obviously quite picky on the other reviews however, the staff were lovely not rude at all, the rooms were clean and tidy as expected. We had no issues with anything whilst staying here and its right next to the Severinstraße tram stop which takes you to the heart of Cologne in 5 minutes. Buy a day ticket on VRS or KVB app for around 9 euros is the best option. You can also walk which is about 15 mins into town which takes you past many shops along the way Hotel was also easy to get to from Koln airport. No complaints from me, would stay here again. Don't always believe the bad reviews, some people complain about anything.

A 4 night stay for the Köln Christmas markets. Hotel was in a great location, right next to a U-bahn station a few stops from the city centre. Bar/restaurant was comfortable with friendly staff and good selection of drinks & food. Buffet breakfast had a great choice of hot & cold food. Room was a decent size with a large bed, nice bathroom and plenty of wardrobe space. All in all a great stay.

The front desk staff were very helpful. The hotel is located ideally on bus and train routes, with a great Main Street full of shops, restaurants and bars.

Our only complaint would be the replenishing of coffee and milk and why have paper cups to drink from in the rooms.
