Great location for visiting the city, but you must be prepared to walk or you could get the little land train from the nearby Lindt factory (which is also great). Our only downside was the WiFi was none existent, so was unable to plan where to go etc, but we made it work.

We stayed overnight and found the hotel very clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The parking garage meant we could leave the car even after checking out and explore the city on foot.

We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, great options to choose from, and the kitchen staff were friendly! The hotel was generally neat. However, it was quite disappointing that we could not get connecting rooms, as the aim of family being in one space for the vacation was defeated. We practically have to move from one room to another everytime, very inconveniencing.

The TV remote was covered with dust. Cleaning needs to be improved and small things like this should be taken care. Wish the parking was free or discounted as 21£ for about 12 hours of parking was quite expensive. Elina at the counter who did the check-in did provide information however the info provided was not accurate (like she said it would take 35/40 mins by bus to cathedral which was not true). The front desk needs to be trained to provide correct information. The water dispenser at the reception was good for the hot weather.

The hotel had very good air-conditioning, provided bathrobes and slippers in my room, and had a very comfortable bed and couch. The location was easy to navigate, close enough to bus lines to get around. Everything was clean, the breakfast was surprisingly generous, there was a good atmosphere of friendly guests. I will stay here again on my next trip to Cologne.

Only 10 min walk to the Cathedral and shops etc along the river. Rooms spacious clean and comfortable. Manager and staff very helpful. Hotel has its own parking under the hotel which we booked and paid for upon arrival. There is a gym and sauna at no extra cost located on the top floor with the added benefit of a view across to the cathedral worth popping up to just see that. We stayed 3 nights and would stay again.

Sadly, the aircon in our room stopped working and the room was moist and hot… we asked for a solution and reception said nothing could be done, it was 23:00. I went down again and then they agree to give us another room but the problem is that we were 5, so moving at that time in the night wasn’t possible.
