The hotel is lovely, rooms are roomy, bathroom is really nice (great shower). The bed was really comfortable. The best part of the hotel is definitely the location. It's super close to everything, walking distance to most things you want to visit. When you walk outside, you immediately catch a glimpse of the mesmerising Dom. We did not use the spa, but it had a look, looked clean. We are more pool people than spa people, unfortunately there was no pool/hot tub. I did use the gym and it's ok, decent hotel gym. Equipment was fully functional, clean. There was only a small selection in free weight though (only 10kg and 20kg plates, no 5kg or 2.5kg plates, so I had to improvise). Overall would recommend!

The hotel staff were great, breakfast was very good, the room was well appointed and maintained, but I couldn’t get the room to a comfortable temperature for sleep. I turned the thermostat to the coldest setting and still sweated through the night. When I opened the windows to cool it off, the bells of the Dom kept me up.

We had a really nice stay here and were welcomed with an upgrade to a Cathedral view. Room was fantastic and really comfortable. Staff were friendly. Gym and Sauna were very nice and enjoyed this. Surprised by a turn down service, which was very nice. Beds comfortable, bathrooms nice. Only downside was that the air con was not particularly effective.

This was a VERY expensive stay. I would therefore have expected that I would have a good nights sleep. The room was nice BUT impossible to cool down. The only option was to open the window. I was then kept awake ALL night with the sound of bells from churches in the city centre.
