I have been staying at this hotel for many years, primarily because of its excellent location and the consistently friendly service. I would like to highlight Paulo in particular—he is an outstanding professional who always makes my stay more pleasant.

We had an issue with the AC on our first room but they quickly moved us to another room. The staff was amazing and they helped us with everything even though we didn't speak Portuguese

the hotel needs an update/refurb. It's all just about ok for the price but a bit worn around the edges.
