Thank you for your reminder — the subject line conveyed such urgency that I briefly wondered whether I had forgotten to settle my bill. Rest assured, I have not. But since you are clearly eager for feedback, I am happy to oblige. It had been some time since my last Novotel stay, and this visit came with a number of surprises. The reception area, for one, appears to have been replaced by a single small desk, around which several staff members were gathered in a manner that made it genuinely impossible to distinguish who was on duty, who was on break, and who had simply wandered in. Despite the number of people present, no one made any particular effort to assist waiting guests. The room was listed as featuring a “kitchenette,” which I can only describe as a significant overstatement. What was actually provided was a small sink and a microwave — neither of which constitutes a kitchen in any meaningful sense. There were no utensils, no cookware, and no realistic means of preparing food. We stayed in a family room. The shower appeared to be a retrofitted unit, and when in use, it produced a level of noise that reverberated throughout the entire room — not ideal for a family with young children. Given what I observed at the front desk, I decided against the breakfast option. At €25 per person, I suspect that decision saved me from a further disappointment. I should note that the location is genuinely excellent, and accommodation with three proper sleeping spaces is difficult to find. For those reasons alone, I cannot entirely rule out a return visit. However, on the level of service and in-room facilities, this stay offered very little that would inspire confidence or loyalty.
