It was my worst experience so far. I used the virtual assistant twice and never got a reply. I asked for the fridge to be fixed three times and it never did.

I supposed to arrive at date X around 8 am in the morning, so I decided to book a night an extra night (day X-1) so I can access directly to my room. Check-in is at 3 PM. Upon arrival, the receptionist told me most likely the room is not available as they are overbooked. I told her this is not acceptable. I am paying for this night. No reaction, just "we are over booked", "someone decided to extend for extra time" and things like this. What does this mean? it is like stealing money. Then she told me, there is a room, let me check if they already cleaned it, otherwise you have to wait until they clean it. I told her, I paid extra night so I don't have to wait, I had 7 hours flight over night, so I paid extra to get a room immediately. No reaction, as this is what you got. Luckily the room was ready so I went to the room. Cleaning wasn't perfect. Cheaper hotels have better cleaning. Anyway, I found the mini refrigerator not working, I reported that, they said maintenance will come next day. next day I got no feedback, and it wasn't fix, I asked again, they said, ooh yes, it is broken and they don't have replacement. The only option they offered is for me to change the room. It was easier for them for me to change the room instead of bringing the working one from the unreserved room to my room. I changed the room the bed in the new room was a disaster compared to the previous one. However, I just gave up and didn't complain. Break fast verities not that good, even space is very small. Generally, in the hotel, staff are a bit rude, except for one old lady at the reception of the breakfast, was smiling while collecting room numbers. Anyway, from this experience, never Novotel.

Very clean, shades to help us sleep later then the sunrise. Room has a fridge and microwave but no plates or utensils, but we managed. Wish there was also hair conditioner in the shower

Comfortable bed and pillows, big room, instant hot water and good pressure in the shower, very quiet hotel. It was a good location for VIECON. The 24/7 vending cabinet with drinks and snacks was handy and the microwave and drinks in the room was good.
