Comfortable and clean junior suite located in a peaceful area, just a 5-minute walk from the metro. The room was spacious and nicely equipped, with good facilities and very reliable WiFi. Special mention to the housekeeping staff — 10/10 for keeping the room spotless throughout our stay. The main downside is the parking, which is quite expensive at €26 per day. Breakfast is also not included and comes at an additional cost. There is, however, a public APCOA parking facility about 500 meters from the hotel that costs only €25 per week. Unfortunately, this option was not mentioned by the hotel staff, which would have been very helpful to know. One other thing that surprised me was that the reception staff generally did not greet guests when passing by, even when I tried to greet them. Perhaps this is simply a cultural difference, but it did feel a little unusual compared with other hotels we have stayed at, but that for sure is not a dealbreaker for me but a bit off-throwing making you consider twice before asking for support. Overall, though, this is definitely good value for money. I would happily recommend it and would certainly consider staying here again in the future.

The Novotel provided an excellent stay at reasonable prices. The rooms were spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning was appreciated on some hot days. The location was excellent with a one block walk to the U-1 line.

Stayed here to attend a conference at the Austria Center. The location was great. Easy access to U1 but also an easy walk.

Excellent stay in family suite on 5th floor. Very comfortable bed and sofa bed. Clean well maintained room with fridge, microwave kettle and coffee maker. Excellent location 2min from metro tram and bus. 2 stops to centre of city. Did not eat there but looked very good. Staff were very helpful and provided plenty of coffee pods and ironing board on request. Air-conditioning and free WiFi was very good.

We notified the reception team various times about mini bar not functioning properly - the answer was "Yes, this is a problem for some rooms". But no solution. The reception team at night was staring at the phone all time, no "hi, good evening, etc". We left some cups and glasses to be picked up...we had to leave them on the floor to make sure they would pick them up next time. Room service did not empty the trash bins as well. The hair dryer was also not working - again notified the team with no solution.

I expected more. Novotel is usually my go-to choice, and I’ve always been happy with my stays at Novotel, so unfortunately this experience was a bit disappointing. We booked a Novotel Suite because we were traveling as a family and expected the extra space and comfort to make our stay more convenient. The room was very spacious. Wich was nice. Unfortunately, the mini-fridge was not working and didn’t cool our drinks. There was also no ice dispenser, so we had no way to keep our store-bought drinks cold. The sofa bed was another disappointment. My children have slept on sofa beds many times before, but this one was of poor quality and not very comfortable. The duvet provided on the sofabed alwad a small one. So se asked for an extra so that each of our children could have their own, but we were told that none were available. The staff were not particularly helpful, which made these issues even more frustrating. On the positive side, the location was good — close to the U-Bahn while still being in a quiet area. Breakfast was also okay, although nothing particularly stood out. Overall, it was an average stay, but considering the Novotel brand and our previous experiences, we expected a lot more from this hotel.

This is the second time I've chosen this hotel. The rooms are larger than usual. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is large and beautiful. There is a sink with drinking water in the room. It is located 10 minutes from the Prater.

I have booked my holiday through booking.com and made both the hotel and train bookings at the same time. The train ticket was cancelled and I spent over 18 hours trying to make a train ticket and couldn’t make it. I contacted booking.com seeking a possible refund since the trip was booked leas than 24hrs but Novotel said SORRY, we will not refund your 1000 euros. It is your fault that you made a non refundable. Finally, I managed to make a train booking and made it. Neither the room nor your services deserve the price you charge. On top of that, the room service took my mother’s pijama and we spent countless hours trying to locate it with the reception people being utterly useless and telling us why should I come to your room to tell you that I didn’t find it, I don’t what to do for you now. The room fridge didn’t work for my parents and they had medicine that needed to be placed in a cool temperature - so another hassle to deal with. There’s no phone in the room and if you ever need something from the reception, you have to go down. Rooms are ridiculously designed and are inconvenient. Toilet is separate from the shower and bath, so completely ridiculous design. No iron in the room, very very basic hotel and honestly, not worth the money. They also declined a request for early check-in, knowing we had two rooms one with seniors and the other with 2 children and we just needed a moment to rest after almost 6 hours trip, but they simply do not care.
