I managed to fit a baroque concert, an opera and plenty of runs and walks across Prater Park, and across the city centre. Adagio is perfect as a base and to enable one to work and do some writing as there are no interruptions.

Appalling customer service and front of house. Went to check in with my elderly mother to discover, we had mistakenly booked for the night before. The receptionist was rude, absolutely unsympathetic, and offered a new room for more than the price I’d paid. No drinks were offered to guests and it was a horrible stuffy atmosphere in a really bad location. We had to make a very fast rebooking elsewhere and took the cheap and cheerful Babula Hotel which actually was fine. Really disgusted with the customer service here typical chain hotel with no empathy for the guest at all. As I was with my 78 year old mother some kindness would have been appreciated.

I spent a week here for business. Friendly service! Reception personnel helped with my questions and offered to give access to meeting areas to work for a while in quiet after I had checked out. Breakfast was tasty and personnel helpful. The room was big, but just slightly outdated, and importantly bed was good to sleep in!

This was the third time I’ve stayed here in about 5 months but it wasn’t as good as the other times. I had a room with a nespresso machine this time which was nice but didn’t get the other bits and bobs such as teabags so had to go dnd ask reception for some. The breakfast buffet was also a bit sparse this time. The staff are lovely though and the hotel is just a short walk from a U bahn station and about 10 mins walk from Landstrasse station if you’re caught the airport train,
