Good location, and the room was clean and tidy, but very warm and the window was locked. If a window is unavailable, then air conditioning should be installed....the fan did nothing. Check-in took forever, about 10 minutes per person, which is far too slow and only one person serving. Gym is really well equipped, but there was no water in the machine, and the Pelaton bike was disconnected from the internet, so didn't work, but otherwise it's fine. Overall, for the price, the experience was reasonable but could be better in my opinion!

We liked the staff and amenities, however the towels were never changed and the room was smaller than the image showed. Also the windows could not be opened and there was an extra charge to use the AC so the room was hot and muggy. Great location.

A huge disappointment — poor service and very poor value for money My stay was a major disappointment. The presentation on Booking.com did not reflect my experience: this felt like an apartment building with a reception desk, with very little of the service or hospitality I would expect from a four-star hotel. The reception staff came across as robotic, inexperienced and unwelcoming. The young woman who dealt with me showed very little empathy. I arrived just five minutes before the official 3 p.m. check-in time and was made to wait. The check-in process itself was painfully slow, despite my having already completed it online. What was the point of offering online check-in if it made no apparent difference? The booking also asked for my estimated arrival time and allowed me to select a time before 3 p.m. I understand that this does not guarantee early check-in, but the lack of flexibility or even a welcoming attitude over just five minutes was disappointing. The room allocated to me was awful: on the first floor, with a closed window overlooking only an unattractive internal courtyard. It felt bleak and enclosed, almost like a prison cell. Neither during booking nor at check-in was I told that daily housekeeping was not included. I only discovered this when I asked at reception on the second day. This should have been clearly explained in advance. Since the room was not cleaned during my stay, I cannot assess the housekeeping service. The check-in card advertised late check-out for an additional fee, without mentioning that it was subject to availability. Yet even though I was willing to pay, it could not be arranged. The same receptionist appeared unsure how to check availability or explain the conditions. Only after consulting the manager did she tell me it was not possible. If late check-out depends on availability, this should be clearly stated on the card. Breakfast was included and was acceptable. The lady working at breakfast was easily the friendliest member of staff and the one positive exception to the otherwise disappointing service. The location was also good. The manager occasionally came out of his office and spoke far too loudly to the staff, which did little to improve the atmosphere. I also work in hospitality, and I would never offer my guests this level of service. A welcoming attitude, clear information and basic consideration for guests should be the minimum. In my opinion, the experience fell well below four-star standards; two or three stars would be a more realistic assessment. At €280, the price was far too high for the quality and service provided. Overall, a very disappointing stay. I would not return or recommend it.

Paying for every thing like breakfast immediately instead of one bill and pay at the end lead to multiple unnecessary expenses for each credit card transaction that I had to put into our expense system. Also only getting 1 cleaning within 8 days and then paying 40EUR per cleaning feels like you get punished for having the room cleaned. First time I saw that bad model and I like it way more to get like a drink voucher to have the room not cleaned as an incentive. This will lead to the extra implementation of an expense category in our systems. I am also pretty confident in the claim those 40EUR are not discounted from the standard room price. These two things I have not seen as standard over the Accor chain but specifically for this hotel.

The hotel staff is very friendly and does their best to satisfy their guests. Unfortunately, the hotel's facilities have deteriorated: room temperatures remain too high because the air conditioning is out of order and the window is sealed shut. The washing machine in the laundry room is so old that it no longer spins. Even the bathroom toilet flushes poorly. The service provided by this hotel falls below the usual standards of the Accor Group.

The location is brilliant for Vienna city to get around. Room was great, hotel was clean. Just two things weren't that great. The TV wasn't working until we found out that the satellite antenna cable was not connected at all. Something like this should be indeed checked by the hotel before providing the room. The other thing was that the breakfast room was very very loud, especially the chairs when moving. Maybe some felt on the ends would avoid that for the future. But that's just our opinion.

Everything was fine except for the check in process. We arrived after a 37 hour trip from Australia at 2.15pm, to be told at the front counter that we couldn’t check in until 3pm, unless we were an all Accor member, or pay 50 euro. I am an all Accor member, however that was dismissed as I booked this accommodation with a travel agent. So, even though our room was ready, we were forced to wait in the lobby for 45 minutes until the clock struck 3. After such a long trip, that was abysmal, especially as I am an all Accor member. Spent 15 days in a 1 bedroom. Hotel is located well with immediate access to the trams and a 15 minute stroll to St Stephens. Hotel staff are mostly unhelpful. If you booked via third party, you are treated as third class, basic economy. Rooms are dated in need of repairs and a thorough cleaning. Hold your breath when sliding curtains. Breakfast cost is €23 per person for a cold cut buffet. In comparison, we had two large pizzas delivered for €20…we skipped the breakfast. WiFi was terrible. Hotel refused to provide reward points and refused to provide a printed folio at checkout to us but provided one to my son-in-law 1.5 hours later. We both booked by third parties, AMEX Travel and Expedia.

Shocking the room wasn’t clean everyday (at least the bathroom and the floors please). Also couldn’t open the windows for ventilation in one week!! Kind of gross

It was good to have an apartment in the centre of Vienna. However, the studio accommodation was a little basic, not much more than a hotel room with a small kitchen attached. Plenty of storage space, but arranged such that it was quite difficult to access the bathroom, and allowed no room for bedside tables. Generally clean and comfortable, though.

Thank you for upgrading us to a one bedroom suite. And for permitting us to check in an hour earlier. The space was well lit, with everything working well. We didn’t use any of the kitchen equipment except the fridge and it was nicely clean and adequately cold. I loved the location. And the front desk staff was super friendly and helpful.
