For the first time i had a very bad experience ! Far away from 4 star Mercure standing!!!We book 2 standards rooms ( only this type was available). Small room, dirty carpet , cleaning is average ,tiny and ugly bathroom,inconfortable pillows,old AC and dusty!!! No complimentary welcome water in the rooms or slippers, for ironing your clothes you have to go in the lobby so exposed and embarrassing!!! The hotel is close to the center ,good location ,breakfast average.

Nice enough hotel. Functional, clean and well located to walk into Vienna centre. Room was comfortable for a family of 3 although the AC not amazing. Breakfast fairly good. Parking garage underneath.

First of all many thanks to the customer-friendly setup: even though the official check-in time is 3 pm, we got our room already at around 1 pm, because it was already ready. Also, I find the Check-out time of 12 pm very convenient. The location was pretty good. Not too far from the Altstadt. The only drawback was the inconveniently not isolated bathroom door in our room. I didn't feel I had any privacy while in the toilet. It felt just like a part of the room.

Upon check in , we had a lot of questions like how to get to the famous church etc etc . Needed some directions but all the guys aren’t helpful at all ( it felt like , you are not supposed to ask for assistance 😡). Only one lady was kind and smiling and tried to help us at front office and her name was Aleyna . Also thank you to Katherine, and Flava for organizing my surprise birthday small bottle of champagne in the room coz it was my birthday when I arrived in the hotel . A big shout out to this lady from the breakfast room who went all the way out to show us the right directions to the church , her name was Rocela and other ladies in the breakfast room .. all the staff were very friendly in the breakfast room and omg they were always very attentive of what you needed . Derive us 10/10 👏🏻 I know what great customer service is coz I have worked with Sheraton hotels in 1996 for 10 yrs . I had to ask the names of all the staff that I want to thank coz they made our stay very comfortable and they were very welcoming . When it’s your birthday , you want to be pampered with great assistance and big smiles when you check in . Again thank you ladies and no thank you for all the guys at reception . Wish they have more training in customer service coz they are the first point of contact in the hotel .
