Pleasant stay at the Novotel Wien City. Excellent location easily reachable by metro. Metro station a stone's throw away. Surrounding area with various cafes, restaurants, a supermarket. The only negative note is the timing of the room cleaning. This seems to be one of the most frequent criticisms in the comments and despite the reassurances from the Hotel it seems that no action has been taken: in the 3 days I stayed at this hotel the cleaning staff showed up at 6pm and at 8am on Sunday. Not exactly ideal times, especially early on Sunday morning.

The hotel is good and is quite basic . Rooms are clean but small and the staff are friendly. The toilet is separate from the bathroom. The breakfast is quite basic but adequate. The location is good with good access to local transport. Check is quick but couldn’t check out early.

We enjoyed our recent stay at the Novotel in Vienna. It was well located, within easy reach of the city centre. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious with all the amenities we required. The breakfast was well stocked and tasty. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a family holiday celebration and we stayed for two nights from 26-28 October and booked two rooms 714&715. We had problems with toilet door in room 715 and we told receptionist they did nothing,water in the fridge was opened like in a slum hotel. Next day both sinks were blocked and shower was blocked and flooding. Really really dissatisfied from Novotel when I have been in different Novotel hotels in Europe and had the best experience and paying nearly 1000 euro and leaving the place unsatisfied and for a 4 star hotel the staff didn’t do anything leave me with the worst feeling and never going back to any of your hotels in the future , not even mentioning the smallest room ever

We zijn verheugd dat u de locatie van Novotel Wien City waardeert, met zijn centrale positie op slechts een korte wandeling van de prachtige oude stad en vele culturele hoogtepunten. We betreuren het echter te horen dat niet alles tijdens uw verblijf naar wens was. We bieden onze excuses aan dat de douche niet voldeed aan onze hoge standaarden van onderhoud en comfort. We nemen uw opmerkingen serieus en zien dit als een kans om onze service te verbeteren. Verder begrijpen we dat het essentieel is dat alle faciliteiten van onze kamers in optimale staat zijn en streven we ernaar om dit te waarborgen. We hopen dat u heeft kunnen genieten van de vele faciliteiten en diensten die ons hotel te bieden heeft, zoals de gevarieerde ontbijtbuffet, onze comfortabele vernieuwde kamers en de gezellige 'Family and Friends'-restaurant.
