Didn't get off to the best of starts as the TV wasn't working. However reception were quick to respond and a technician resolved the issue with a new firestick. The room wasn't huge though it was adequate for the two of us. The toilet seat is pretty close to to the glass toilet door (which rattles a bit when you open and close it, or bump into it) which may be challenging for larger guests. The bed was comfortable enough and the room was very warm. The cleaning service was very good and efficient. It is close to a lot of facilities. Stephansplatz underground station is a 10 min leisurely walk. There are shops, restaurants and bars nearby and a bigger shopping area just past Stephansplatz. There is a well-stocked Spar Gourmet just down from the hotel. The hotel also offered a free city centre walking tour on the Saturday morning which focused on the area around Stephansdom so didn't venture too far from the hotel. I also did the Donaupark parkrun on Sat morning (9am start) which was reached by the U-bahn U1 red line (10 min journey and 5 min walk from Alte Donau station). Central Cafe is well worth a visit (not extortionate prices) but you may have to wait in a queue outside. The interior decor is quite stunning. The staff at the hotel were always very friendly and helpful and they spoke very good English.

I had a great time , the staff was lovely and helpful every step of the way. I was given an extremely silent room as I asked and an extra radiator when I was cold. Moreover I was helped with my transfer to the airport on a day where the storm hit the city very badly. I am very greatful for the support.

Well located . Noisey hotel . Couldn’t sleep long in the morning due to noise in the corridor . Bed was not comfortable at all . It was two beds put together which is not comfortable. Blankets are very small . Staff were just talking for long next to the room early in the morning
