Good location for exploring Vienna

The receptionist at check in wasn't very pleasant to deal with, once we checked in we had no further interactions. The room was a decent size as was the bathroom. The cleanliness could be improved especially in the bathroom, the floor had quiet a few hairs on it. The bathroom door was also very dirty. There was no hand towel to dry hands or hair. I have stayed in a lot of ibis hotels and this one wasn't the best. The location and having the u bahn close is a bonus.

Could be cleaner and better quality since it was 150€/night, but I guess the price inflation was due to the Christmas season. It was not horrible but it was just okay, the bed was comfortable and the shower good, but we only had a tiny duvet for two people. I would stay again if I had no other choice and if it was cheaper. Good location, in 15 min you’re downtown with the metro.

If you looked at my profile you’d see how unlikely I am to leave a bad review. This hotel we picked it coz of the competitive price and obviously we did not come with high expectations. However, it seemed as if no one wants to work there. Check in was awful as I attempted to practice some German and the receptionist was nothing but sassy and so not smiley. You often see them sitting in the back office and they don’t have any reflex to stand up coming at you. Check out was (not) handled by another girl who stayed sitting with her glittered AirPods on (?!). You guys cold coz of the temperature or were you raised this way? The only exception was a blond lady who actually had a good smile! Also the metro isn’t far so that was practical. Otherwise it can easily be downgraded to 1 star. This hotel met my expectations. I stayed here about 5 years ago and it’s pretty much the same. Check in was efficient, rooms are basic but clean. Temperature was comfortable. Didn’t take breakfast so can’t comment.
