What happened with beds in Ibis?

I was in this hotel for several times, great location, close to the city, but my back is still in pain, the beds in hotel are really bad, low quality, cheap foam, which is a nightmare for anyone with a sensitive spine. Too bad. The hotel is currently in the middle of a construction site, which you don't find out when booking. A tram line is being built in front of the hotel, and a building is being demolished next to the hotel.

Uncomfortable beds, unclean

The breakfast was good, loved the waffles. Beds were uncomfortable, pillows too hard and high. Only were given one big towel per person. Also, room's cleanliness wasn't the best - for example, the door was dirty, my nightside table wasn't cleaned properly, as there were left some gummies from orthodontic braces from previous guests. Not very nice. There was no kettle and tea in the room.

Good stay but online checkin doesn't seem to work.

Restful stay in a well-located hotel, as usual. Good buffet offering. However, the online checkin doesn't seem to work as I had to manually supply all details again on arrival.

Location was not the best. Duvet was too small and didn't cover two people properly. There was no soap in the toilet for 2 days.
