Front desk service was really great. Friendly, competent and fast. We had a bad experience with the shower. It was very hot or very cold. No other option.

Hotel is very old. Room lighting is not good, beds are OK, but not super comfortable, and premises are old. I choose it only because it's close to my company.

I booked a Mercure room through my company’s travel agency and was surprised at check-in to learn the room was managed by a third party. I stayed only because it was inside the hotel, but the room was uninhabitable: stained sheets, dirty/poorly maintained bathroom, and a very worn mattress, to name a few of my complaints. Staff were unhelpful and I had to pay for another room. This is far below Mercure standards. I expect the hotel to ensure third‑party rooms meet basic cleanliness and maintenance standards/quality.
