The location was good, not far from restaurants, bakery, and other nearby places. The rooms were very no frills, with the toilet mounted on a stall like enclosure with a sink inside the room where you had to leave the bathroom to wash your hand. The photos did not match the reality, and the offered breakfast was a small variety that left you better off going out for breakfast than taking the "breakfast offer". Table in the room was barely big enough to hold a full meal for two people. Bunk bed was narrow. I understand the word budget means not to expect much, but I expected better and had to move out the next day to another establishment due to our dissatisfaction with the conditions, size, and reality of the hotel.

I'm from Brazil and I've been an ALL Accor member for quite some time. I'm currently traveling across Europe, and the difference in customer service between the staff at Ibis Budget Courbevoie Paris La Défense 1 and the employees I've encountered at other Accor hotels is striking. For example, in Spain, the staff were genuinely welcoming, friendly, and seemed happy to help. Here, it felt like the employees simply didn't want to be there. I started speaking English because I don't speak French, and although they clearly understood and spoke English, the service became noticeably colder. On the other hand, when French guests were being served, the attitude appeared completely different. Maybe that was just my impression, but it certainly wasn't a good one. Honestly, it felt as if I was asking them for a favor just to check into a room I had already paid for. The hotel's facilities, however, were exactly what I expect from Ibis: clean, organized, and well maintained. Accor has always been very consistent in that regard. It's just a shame that the quality of the customer service didn't match the standard of the hotel itself. Another disappointing point was the lack of flexibility regarding my stay. I booked the room around noon and checked out at 10:00 p.m. on the same day. I asked whether a day-use rate could be applied, since I wasn't staying overnight, but I was still charged the full nightly rate. I've had this kind of request accommodated at other hotels before, so it was disappointing that no reduced rate or alternative was offered.

This hotel is advertised with AC but it does not have AC and we weren't told that until AFTER we paid. We had 4 rooms for 2 nights and our whole party was MISERABLE. My room was over 85 degrees. Also, we looked forward to breakfast which had very very few options, so we skipped it.

Have to say in all fairness the hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. But rooms are small, that’s what we expected but we were here during the heatwave. There is no air conditioning and not even a fan in the room. There was supposed air flow but honestly it was torture, the air flow didn’t exist in our room. A fan at the least, the staff downstairs have air conditioning and possibly don’t realise how hot the rooms are so you will spend your time sitting downstairs to get any bit of relief. The rooms need at least a fan. So so uncomfortable. No sleep and even when requested during the heatwave there was no effort to make us comfortable or get a fan. Honestly I’d think twice about coming here due to that. Also location is ok for using the arena but taxis are needed to get around to the nearest metro etc. honestly we regret not finding alternative accommodation

You can’t find anything better for that price. Walk to metro is about 15 minutes. Room can get hot since there is no airco.

Location wise great when with car, staff was friendly. Room was just comfortable for is, because it looked outdated and a bit unhygienic (maybe some new paint on the walls etc would help it fresh up a bit). Therefore I would nog return.

Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast quite acceptable for the price. Room was basic as expected for a budget price - but a few small things would really have helped: easier to dry clothes, a seat other than a plastic stool, and TV that worked. The overcharge still has to be refunded.
