The hotel had given us a wrong room. therefore, without contacting us, they have moved our things to another room. I have therefore lost my expensive glasses and they cannot find them. I have tried to talk to the manger several times but nothing happens as I have a compensation claim against them. I have sent a receipt for my glasses that I have lost and the new ones that I have had to acquire as I cannot do without them. the hotel starts by offering me 2 nights at their hotel free of charge, which indicates that they take my complaint seriously. However, I have to explain to them that a stay does not cover my needs. I have probably written 30+ emails with them back and forth. now I have been ignored for a month. I am VERY disappointed with their treatment! Otherwise, I had a really good stay in Bratislava and was very satisfied with staying at the hotel.

Fairly standard city centre hotel. Excellent location, only 5 mins walk to the historic old town centre, and just below the city castle. Rooms were basic but clean. Twin beds are jammed together, so don't expect a lot of personal space if you're sharing with a friend. Good shower in the bathroom. There is a tram line outside the hotel, but the soundproofing seemed good (on the 3rd floor anyway), so I didn't really hear it. Buffet breakfast is €13 and is actually good value at that, some hot food and plenty of fruit, cereals and cold meats. There are numerous cafes within 10 mins walk for other options though. Staff were very helpful when I'd forgotten a travel plug for my charger and loaned me a suitable cable. All staff were friendly and efficient.

This hotel located very close to the castle and to the old city centre as well, you don't need public transfer to visit both. It also has parking slots. As usual at Ibis, beds are comfortable, breakfast was excellent and their staff is very kind and more polite than the average. Really worth to choose Ibis Bratislava Centrum if you want to stay close to everything in a good hotel!

First, staff makes the difference. We called to book and they helped with parking info, accommodate requests for room with kids (although some staff did indicate discounts that could not apply). Generally good experience. The improvements: - breakfast, expensive for what it offers - hotel facilities can be cleaner, matress soft & old, bathroom fittings - i recommend you take a look at Ibis Altstadt in Nuremberg (we stayed the next day) and see how much it can be improved

The staff was very helpful and welcoming (5 stars, really!) and the location was good but the rest was not so great - worn out rooms, dark corridors, uncomfortable beds.
