The hotel was perfectly adequate for a one-night stay, and the shower was excellent. The décor was certainly memorable, although a little overwhelming and not particularly conducive to a calm, relaxing sleep environment. The pillows were extremely thin and offered very little support. If they are going to remain that way, providing two pillows per guest would make a significant difference to comfort. I was also disappointed that there was no kettle in the room, as this is something many guests expect as a basic convenience. One aspect of the décor that felt rather odd was the use of rope as a decorative feature. While I appreciate that it may have been intended as a design choice, it came across as somewhat insensitive and uncomfortable. Overall, the hotel was fine for a short stay, with some good points, but there are a few areas where guest comfort could be improved.
