First of all the application booking was more expensive than the booking on the counter Two the rooms are very poor in everything There is long waiting time to register more than 40 minutes from our arrival We have been forced to take one more room to accommodate my two children 9and 7 YO There is huge difference from ibis uae and Vienna.

Nice stay, very clean, good breakfast, optimum price/quality. But... I stayed 1 night with my son and a friend of him, both minors. They had a sport event. Upon check-in I was informed that I needed to provide the ID of both children, and when, upon my declaration, realizing one minor was not my daughter, the desk employee asked for a consent for her parents. By good chance, and totally unplanned, her mother was with me, so she could give her ok. It was requested to provide the agreement by email. We agreed, and pointed out that the email is not a proof of identity, and also not a proof that the woman was the girl's mother. So we were asked to provide, also by email, a photo of the mother ID, which we agreed to. But again: that is in no way proof that she was the mother of the girl. Having the same family name is no proof or relationship, and is also not a proof of no relationship. So everything turned out to be just a hassling experience empty of any legal meaning. I booked the room on the hotel website. At no point in the booking process there was the mention of the necessity of proving kinship documentation, so there was no ground to ask for it at check-in time. A situation which, in the case of the minor's mother not being present, would have resulted inme and two minors being in Vienna with no accomodation. That would have been unnacceptable, especially for the minors' safety! So I have to give a negative feedback on the hotel preparedness on how to plan for such a situation, both in what concerns informing me, and in what concerns providing proper and accurate information to the hotel employees.

Well located, especially if your plans include Arena Wien. U3 metro is just a few minutes away (it’s inbetween stations), which makes city centre as close as 15 minutes. Also, if you arrive to Vienna by bus, the international bus terminal is 5 minutes away.

:)The room was very spacious and comfortable, with excellent ventilation. It was within walking distance of the train station, making it very easy to access. The towels were changed every day. The staff at the reception were extremely friendly and helpful. They answered every question and were always willing to assist. :( One thing that surprised me was that, for the first time at an Ibis hotel, I had to rent a hairdryer. Additionally, the shower floor was very slippery. There was a warning sign, but unfortunately it did not prevent me from slipping, even though I was being careful and holding on. I only suffered minor injuries, but I believe a non-slip shower surface or mat should be installed to improve safety.

It was a comfortable stay but with some issues with door key (card key). The nearby subway station (S3) made train trips around the city very easy. Nearby supermarket (Billa) was also useful for simple breakfast and everyday needs.
