Nowadays and specially in Sao Paulo we tend to use AirBnb or these buildings with 15m2 flats instead of choosing regular hotels. It is not worth it. You can save a few bucks but you'd miss everything they have here - good breakfast, friendly helpful staff anytime of the day, well equipped room, parking etc. After having so many problems on the alternatives, I don't even consider them anymore.

I had a business trip to Sao Paulo and stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The location is very good, Moema is definitely one of the better and safer areas, and there are many bars and restaurants around the hotel. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly at all times. The room, I had a small apartment with a working and sleeping area, was spacious and clean. However, there was only air conditioning in the bedroom and so the rest of the room was very hot due to the current heatwave and through the thin walls and doors you could clearly hear the noises from the neighboring rooms. The bathroom is unfortunately not that spacious and you can sometimes bump your elbow on the wall. The breakfast room size isn't large (maybe 20 seats for a 16 stage building) and the selection is quite limited. The best thing is definitely the large selection of fresh fruit. There is also supposed to be a restaurant and bar here in the evening, which we didn't try. The pool on the roof is rather small, but the view from there is great. What I definitely missed was a welcome bottle of water in the room (especially when it's 40 degrees outside during the day and you arrive in the middle of the night), which is now standard in most other hotels I know. In addition, the hotel offers few other amenities and comforts, which does not do justice to the higher price level. I will probably prefer a different hotel in that area next time.
