Hotel location nice but rooms and hotel needs updating. Both rooms and breakfast area too noisy! Too small for the number of guests hotel Mercure is trying to accomodate . Rooms and bathroom is quite small. All theStaff friendly and nice and helpful. Also my requirements for my room cleaning due to allergy was well looked after so thankyou to Housekeeping. We are staying there again for 2 days 17th 18th Dec.

It was the first night of our honeymoon, we landed and came straight to the hotel arriving at 13:00. I did not receive any early check-in privilege despite being Gold status, I reached out beforehand to ask that this request was met and yet we did not get anything (early check-in, room upgrade, welcome note, etc.) We had to wait in the restaurant next door, then go back into the lobby to ask if our room was ready, at regular check in hour. It was not. We waited another 15 minutes and finally it was. Other hotels seem to acknowledge special occasions but this was not the case here. Disappointing for the first night of our special trip.
