I arrived early and asked if can have a room. Lady at reception said no in a rude way...I said ok. She said to come at 11am which I did. Straight away not available room...same young girl. I came 4pm and same lady acted like first time saw me on the day...she handed over the key and the welcome message...which was with someone else name on it. Usually used to get a small chocolate or a biscuit...total ignorance from the lady at reception. Not a big deal, but someone who deserves this job should be there.

A well located, clean and comfortable hotel, next to Greenwich Railway & DLR station. It is close to all local amenities including Greenwich Park, market and theatre. Our only concerns were the bathroom sink, which was blocked and drained very slowly, and the lack of hand washing facilities in the toilet.

I stayed at the hotel previously which is why I chose it for this trip. I feel it is in need of a bit of tlc. The bathroom in my room needs a revamp, the shower tray and wash basin are marked and stained and the carpet needs a shampoo. The bedlinen is also subpar. The decor in reception is a bit garish. Aside from that, the staff were lovely, very helpful and courteous and the fish and chips in the restaurant were fabulous!
