However, I am concerned about the situation you mentioned regarding some staff not being polite enough. The hotel is well located, near metro and the metropolitan stadium for concerts. The breakfast was wonderful, food re stocked straight away and a good variety. Check in and out was quick and easy. The indoor parking is a great extra. Can only fault the bed and pillows as they were not great, luckily we were only staying one night.

Overall, I had a comfortable stay. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and I had no issues with noise. The location is excellent—it’s easy to take the train into downtown, there are several good restaurants nearby, and the hotel is very close to the airport, making it very convenient. There were a few missing amenities, such as tissues/Kleenex and a coffee maker, and only the basic bath towels were provided. My biggest concern was the front desk staff, especially some of the women at reception. They came across as unfriendly, rarely smiled, and seemed uninterested in helping guests. Too often, the answer was simply “no” without any effort to see if there was another way to help. Better customer service and a more welcoming attitude would make a significant difference to the guest experience. That said, I would definitely stay here again because of the comfort and the excellent location. I just hope the hotel invests more in customer service training, as a friendly and helpful front desk can make all the difference.

unfortunatelly the Air conditioning in my room was not working

I rarely write negative reviews, but my recent stay at this hotel was disappointing from the very beginning. The room was very small, old, and poorly maintained. There was another hotel under construction right next door, so it was extremely noisy and dusty throughout our stay. The only positive point is that it’s not too far from the airport, but it is very far from central Madrid — you need to take a taxi for 30–40 minutes to reach the city center. The room key cards had constant issues. Every time you left the room, the card would stop working, and you had to go back downstairs to the reception desk to get it reactivated because each card seemed to work only once. This happened repeatedly and wasted a lot of time waiting for the elevator and dealing with reception. The staff acted as if this was completely normal and never even apologized. One night, my family returned late and we could not get back into our room because the key card failed again. The female staff member working the night shift on May 13 was extremely rude. She appeared annoyed and irritated, as if the malfunctioning key card was somehow my fault. This attitude is completely unacceptable for a well-known hotel brand like Ibis. I have stayed at many Ibis hotels around the world, but I have never had such a terrible experience as I did at this property. It is absolutely not worth €110 per night for a tiny room of less than 18 square meters and bad customer service. Not recommended

I stayed here right prior to an early flight. 10 minutes to airport, which is quick. Room is good & internet is fast. Lovely little bar & affordable and nice food. I slept well, the only thing I really missed was coffee in the room.

My experience was wonderful except a very sour experience with one of the staff who shockingly insisted that I pay the outstanding 425.70 Euro before I could take breakfast on one of the days. This is despite that I had spent more more than 6 weeks in the hotel and that my deposit had not been fully used. It was a very sad experience which should not have happened. Besides this, all the other staff were very polite and friendly. I had no other complaints
