Perfect MAD Layover Hotel

Confusion on the name change from Pullman (which is what I booked and received confirmation of) an actual Novotel. Not corrected ever until arrival even via confirmation email two days before. Seems an unprofessional way of handling brand change. The hotel however is fine. Three stops from T4 and one stop from T1,2,3. A short walk. Very very quiet area, super quiet rooms. El Cortes Ingles nearby and well served by taxi and Cabify, Uber etc. It is quick metro to Chamartin with one change, and reasonable distance from city centre. Rooms are well laid out and I preferred the small table over a desk. The Deluxe Building is newly renovated (or appeared to be completed). Very comfortable 4* for the price, but it is not a Pullman property. Very pleasant staff I must add, especially housekeeping. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stopover in Madrid or a short working holiday, I needed to sleep at 20:00 to be awake in time for a meeting. Would not have been possible in many hotels. For longer stays or for pleasure, I might want to be closer to the centre.

Had a short overnight stay at Novotel Madrid Campo de las Naciones due to next day early morning flight out of MAD. Nice spacious room, superb breakfast with very friendly service staff-I very much enjoyed their service despite early morning 6:30am. Will come back for sure. Highly recommended.

We booked the Pullman hotel over six months ago. We were notified of the name change just last month, but was not notified of the renovation which were happening on the entire ground floor. We had to walk through the rain to the restaurant next door. The restaurant was fine, but the journey was disappointing. If we knew upfront the renovation, we would have cancel the booking.

We would also like to note that, in the pre-arrival email, we informed you in good faith about the access arrangements and the use of the restaurant facilities located in our neighboring building. Both buildings operate as one unified Novotel concept, and all services are shared to ensure our guests continue to enjoy a complete experience. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this situation may have caused, especially having to walk outside in the rain, and we assure you that we are doing our utmost to continuously improve the experience we offer our guests.
