It was for a work trip. We enjoyed the bar and the sauna in the evening. The room were suficiently furnished and the personnel was helpfull.

The worst room amenities I have ever stayed in a hotel

We were given a room (2007) meant for handicap person, which is not a problem and acceptable to me. But the really worst part was the unacceptable composition of room: there was no suitable table where I could keep my laptop and work. Absence of a normal study/working chair and table was not expected. Even the bigger shock was the toilet room, there was no place to keep even a small toiletry kitbag. A small wash basin with hardly space to keep any kit. There was no place to hang even small cloths (even underwears ). I and my wife are not handicap, but we were wondering how illogically the room was organized without simple normal amenities. In my opinion it is inhuman to offer such a room to guests while charging the rates of three/four star hotel. I have great sympathies with disabled person and I respect their courage and determination to manage. But the hotel should also take a genuine care of providing basic service/facilities. During the checkout I mentioned our experience to the person at the reception desk and asked to convey my feeling and I also mentioned no trust that hotel manager/owner will even check the room and do something about it (otherwise the room would be not like that). Please check for yourself.

We enjoyed our stay at Novotel Munich, I had stayed at the hotel previously before it under went renovations . The hotel is very comfortable, perfect location to see the sights of Munich and we enjoyed a meal there too which was delicious. The staff were all very kind and the hotel had a lovely atmosphere, thank you.
