As a Diamond Accor member with years of stays across Europe, I chose Novotel Munich City for its central location during a business trip from March 18 to 21, 2026. Check-in was seamless, with the front desk staff promptly acknowledging my elite status and providing me a spacious superior room on the 5th floor with a comfortable king bed, modern desk setup, and excellent city views toward the city. The room was impeccably clean, quiet despite the urban setting, and equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi (perfect for my remote work), a Nespresso machine, and thoughtful touches like a complimentary minibar —standard perks that felt elevated for Diamond guests. Service stood out positively. The team at reception and concierge were professional and multilingual. Housekeeping was efficient, with daily refreshes and turndown service including fresh towels and eco-friendly amenities. Breakfast buffet in the Novotel Café was a highlight for vegetarians. Vegetarian dining extended to dinner at the hotel's restaurant, where the menu featured solid choices, all flavorful and well-prepared without cross-contamination concerns. Portions were generous, and the staff accommodated my no-meat requests effortlessly. Overall, this was a reliable stay, great value for Accor loyalists, especially vegetarians, in a convenient spot 10 minutes from Munich old city. I'd return for future trips.
