I had been experiencing changing timelines every time I contact Accor about my reservations. I’ve followed their instructions and those of your colleagues. On 12 March I was told I could change to a fixed rate a day before my arrival but when I contact the front desk on 22 May, they said I could change 48 hours in advance and on 23th when front desk emailed me back, they were saying a week in advance.

We stayed for three nights. On the first night, the power went out from around midnight for 3-4 hours. No lights. No air-conditioning. Cannot reach front desk by hotel telephone. The room number displayed on the phone was not even the room we were staying. Besides, the electrical outlet in the bathroom was loosen; the hair dryer cannot plug in. Poor design of shower screen - only halfway closure. Water was spread out all over the sink counter. The keycards were locked before we checked out and before check-out time.

It didn’t work to fix the shower head on the support, meaning you can’t take a good shower with one hand holding it. The buffet breakfast labels are too small to read, especially with dim light.

on my last night at the hotel, the building had a power shutdown from 12mn to 2+ am with aircon, wifi, lights etc all shut off, and unfortunately in a middle of the heat wave week which made the room stuffy and warm had an early morning connecting train and had a terrible nights rest.

As you unfortunately experienced, an unexpected power outage affected the entire Gare de Lyon area between approximately midnight and 3:00AM. This incident, caused by construction work near the station, was beyond our control. Our hotel, located within the station’s vicinity, was directly impacted by this outage. We fully understand the disappointment and inconvenience caused during your stay and would like to offer you our sincerest apologies. Rest assured that our teams worked throughout the night to manage this unforeseen situation as best as possible and to support our guests during these exceptional circumstances.
