Unexpected visitor and noisy heating.

A few minutes after I arrived, around 5pm, there was a knock on my door. As I was using the bathroom, I didn't answer the door and the knocking intensified. To my shock, someone was opening my door and saying (baby crib; lit de bébé in French. I had to run to the door and lock in from the inside, still horrified. There was a family arriving with a small child while I was checking in, so maybe room service mixed room numbers? Still, opening my door was completely unacceptable. I didn't feel safe for the remainder of my stay and slept with my luggage agains the door, since I was feeling unsafe. The other issue was heating, any temperature above 20° Celsius would cause the heating vent to periodically produce intense fan noises, like a helicopter turbine. I still feel shock up about the "room invader" and would be willing to give additional details if needed, as staff seems to need training.

the hotel is well located, very close to Gare de Lyon. However, the room was small and very cold at arrival. Limited choice for the welcome drink, no bar.
