Overall the hotel is good, location is great and staff was very helpful. We did not score 10 because the room was a little bit old and it was smelling quite bad in the shower drain in the bathroom.

You know, perhaps not fair, but I expected a much better and different hotel experience from Mercure (Accor) Hotels based on prior experiences. The rooms felt like little apartments and had no nice, warm, inviting or calming atmosphere whatsoever. Only super bright overhead lights, a tiled floor, minimal to no decorations, kitchen area and counter top too large for the space and a tiny bedroom that barely fit the bed ...... Not a great place to come back to after a long day of business meetings and office work...... Unless Mercure is getting a major update I won't likely come back for my next stay.
