Great hotel, comfortable room, daily housekeeping visits, reception staff very welcoming. A really interesting location near Montmartre, Les Marches des Puces and, with Simplon metro station two minutes away , it is handy for everywhere. Bd Ornano is very lively and gives a great experience of being in Paris, a beautiful city and home to people from around the world.

Dull and grey

This hotel resembles a glorified youth hostel and the room rate seems high for such a rather down at heel area. Noise from late night arrivals dragging furniture across the ceiling floor kept some of us awake, so sound insulation not good. Room very small and grey, depressing interior with cheap fittings (light fell off the wall as I flicked the switch). Pluses in the location: Porte de Clignancourt metro station minutes walk away, although a lone female may feel uncomfortable walking in the area late evening. Cheap eateries nearby are of the kebab & chips/frites variety. I wouldn't stay in an Ibis hotel again unless very cheap rates available as it compares unfavourably with competitors.

Room and bathroom very small and difficult to move around. no good lay out.
