The positives: Really amazing location in the heart of Montmartre and a welcome with a smile from reception. Very friendly service. But .. I booked from a photo online and the photo looks much nicer than the reality. We booked the Apartment on third floor with two bedrooms and living room for 4 people. The space was amazing for Paris and there were plenty of beds (4 in total). It was meticulously clean but the apartment is in desperate need of renovation. Besides the dated aesthetics (stucco walls and Lino flooring), there is peeling wallpaper, cracks in ceiling, mould on shower grouting and electrical sockets hanging out of walls (danger to small kids). They clearly go to a lot of effort to make it clean and presentable but it's time for a major renovation!

Check in was seamless. Guest service was friendly, Area is perfect. A little mart nearby and plenty of shops. Bed was comfy and room was clean. Will stay here again!

The hotel was mostly nice, but the electric appliances in the room didn't work (the electric kettle was leaking when in use, and the stove didn't turn off, you had to switch off the circuit breaker!). The elevator worked only sometimes, which was hell for someone with mobility issues. And one receptionist spoke only French (after I spoke English) and didn't seem to care whether I understood what she was telling me or not (I did, but she couldn't know that). The other receptionist's English was perfect. Apart from these minor grievances, we liked our stay very much.
