Window left open and cigarette smell in room

I did not appreciate the room cleaners, we returned on our last night during our stay to the window left open and the disgusting smell of cigarette. The person who had cleaned our room on the 7th floor had decided to smoke while doing so and it was not appreciated in the slightest. Not to mention, the room was freezing when we returned due to the window being left completely open. Fortunately, nothing entered our room through the window during our time exploring all day but given the room cleaners came every day at approximately 10am and we had not returned until around 10pm, the window was open for at least twelve hours. The area itself was a bit odd with the large "street market" with odd characters and clothing left all over the streets.

Nous sommes désolés si cela a causé un inconfort à votre retour. Pour éviter toute gêne liée au passage de notre personnel d’entretien, nous vous recommandons d’utiliser le panneau « Ne pas déranger » à accrocher sur votre porte. Cela permettra à notre équipe de respecter pleinement votre tranquillité. Enfin, nous regrettons que le quartier ne vous ait pas pleinement satisfait. N’hésitez pas à nous solliciter lors de votre prochain séjour afin que nous puissions vous orienter vers des lieux plus adaptés à vos attentes. After arriving there, the 3 girls working there wanted us to pay for our stay even though it was paid in advance. Even after showing them the confirmation of payment , they were unhappy with it that the payment was made through my boyfriend. Who cares as long as it was paid!!!! They didn’t even apologise after confirming that it was paid. Very disrespectful staff. Although I called few days before to confirm that everything was ok, no one mentioned anything about it and that everything was ok and they were expecting us. Additionally there was a terrible smoking scent. in the room. I would definitely not recommend it.
