I had to change room after first night because shower wasn't draining properly. House phone in first room wasn't working either as well as night lights. Shower in second room wasn't draining properly either and bathroom sink was emptying very slowly

Bathroom needs renovating

There is no metro nearby. The breakfast was shitty and with no proper food. Even desserts were soggy.

Our vacation to Paris was amazing not only did my family and I love the vibrant city of Paris, but also the hotel felt like home. The staff of the hotel kept its promises and although my booking process was a bit complicated due to some changes that had to be made everything was managed according to how we discuss it by email. My stay at this hotel has been nothing short of incredibly aggravating and the opposite of relaxing. From the beginning of my stay right until the end, it has been a series of avoidable errors at the hands of careless staff. It started off badly when the lady handling our check-in didn’t even verify my status or offer us a welcome beverage and was generally off-putting and clearly not enjoying her work. I would describe her as unwelcoming. Our experience got worse as I elected to forgo housekeeping for three nights since we didn’t need it. It turns out that this is not a good idea if you end up needing anything from housekeeping. They left our room with almost no shower soap and hand cream—the dispenser was empty. I had to ask four times over the span of one day to obtain more shower soap. We called to request it, and it never came. We asked for it downstairs and received lotion instead. I went down again and asked—nothing. The fourth time, I went down again and witnessed the front desk calling housekeeping, who had never noted that we needed anything in the first place. Incredibly unprofessional and frustrating. To top matters off, they tried to charge me for a late checkout because no one checked the guest status. They also didn’t alert housekeeping, or housekeeping failed to note it again, because housekeeping entered my room to tell me to leave over an hour before the late checkout we had arranged. Other points of note include the shower, which floods the entire bathroom due to a ridiculous design. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone seeking rest, competent and polite service, and a seamless stay. I truly do not understand how this hotel functions, but I won’t be back to find out.
