The room was filled with roaches, after complaining the staff member told me. It’s a 2-star hotel, it happens.. location also very bad. The hotel is located next to the highway, and across the street is a building filled with tents where homeless people live.

This is a budget hotel so there are already low expectations but I was not prepared to witness the lack of sufficient staff in the ground floor areas.

Location is convenient but a bit sketchy especially for families. Room was too hot, no air conditioning available. Requested a fan, but none were available. Reception provided one on the next day, but was broken Room is too noisy from traffic on the main road, so couldn't even keep the window open for fresh air.windows have constrictors, but open too wide, safety hazard if staying with children.

When booking into the hotel the atmosphere was nice and the gentleman at the front desk was very polite. We had a lovely holiday and the hotel is only about a 20 minute Uber to central Paris. We had a lovely stay and the room was comfortable until our last day. My partner and I paid for a late checkout - 2pm - but by 10:30am we were getting knocks on our door by cleaning staff. Around 1pm we had a staff member come to the door to tell us we need to go to reception, and we tried to explain we have a late checkout but there was a language barrier. She left and we continued to get ready for the day and pack our bags. About 20 minutes later we had security banging on the door and telling us to leave. We explained to him that we are here until 2pm and leaving shortly but he didn’t like this response. He proceeds to escort us into the elevator and through reception like some criminals. No one was willing to listen to us and we could see him watching us the whole time when speaking to reception staff, as if we were going to do something wrong. This made us feel totally uncomfortable and not want to be within that hotel anymore. No one listened to us and didn’t bother to check what we had paid for when explaining to them. I would not go back after that encounter.

We stayed at this hotel recently, and while the room and location were satisfactory, our experience with the front desk staff on our checkout day was disappointing. The female receptionist on the morning shift and the female receptionist on the afternoon shift were both very unhelpful. When we were checking out, we wanted to ask about leaving our luggage for a few hours. There was one guest being served before us, and although there was a queue, she asked what we needed help with. As soon as we explained that we wanted to leave our luggage, she simply said she was busy, pointed towards the other side and said tgere were lockers, and told us to find out ourselves. We thanked her, but her attitude was unfriendly and made us feel unwelcome. Later, we realised we didn't have any coins to use the lockers, so we went back to ask for help. She simply said there was nothing she could do. This is not only a staff issue but also a hotel issue. The luggage locker system is poorly designed. Although it says you can use it for up to 24 hours, once you open the locker to take something out, you cannot put your luggage back in without paying again. We had to pay twice because of this. The lockers also only accept coins, with no contactless or card payment option, and the reception does not provide any way to exchange coins. I am sure many guests face this problem, yet the hotel seems completely unprepared. Simple solutions such as a coin exchange service at reception, a change machine, or contactless payment for the lockers would make a big difference. In contrast, all of the male staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. We have also stayed at the Ibis Budget in Edinburgh, where the staff were excellent. They allowed us to leave our luggage at reception free of charge with a luggage tag, so we didn't have to pay for lockers at all. That experience showed much better customer service. Apart from the luggage situation, the room was clean, and the location was convenient. I understand this is a budget hotel, but being a budget hotel should not mean compromising on hospitality. A welcoming and helpful attitude from reception staff costs nothing and makes a huge difference to guests' experience.

Paid for a room for three people. Little disappointed that the third single bed was never made up on any day, including when we arrived very late at night and then had to make the bed up. The sheets on the third bed were also dirty despite seeming to be clean and folded in the spare bedding bag. Towels also seemed to have dirty marks on them. One of our personal hair towels was gathered up with the other towels when they changed them and was not returned despite asking repeatedly. It was also very hot during our stay, so an air con or a fan that didn’t require a 50€ cash deposit would have been much appreciated and sadly wasn’t available!

Ok, I had missed that this was an Ibis *BUDGET* but now I know. Ibis Budget is really very basic. The room itself was fine (and as pictured) but the molded one piece plastic bathroom with wipe clean floor and walls was a surprise. The shower was again basic but ok - and clean. The neighbourhood was... let's say 'vibrant' (leaning towards sketchy) but at least you would definitely say it was the 'real Paris'. And it was within an easy 10-15min walk from 3 train or tube stations that easily got us into the centre of town. So, that was quite practical. We were there in the heat wave. We did get given an electric fan... but the room was still pretty hot. I would say the staff were all lovely, attentive and helpful, whenever we needed anything and overall we did really enjoy our stay.

Despite your website advertising this hotel as temperature controlled, when I asked at reception he confirmed there is no air conditioning. The room was unbearably hot and uncomfortable. How can you blatantly lie on your website. Very dissatisfied and I think some compensation is not unreasonable.

Uncomfortable, small room, Hot room, filthy fans, noisy rooms, not enough towels, no pillowcases, rooms with cockroaches, terrible stay. I do not recommend it at all.
