First of all, please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience you experienced when trying to access the hotel from the underground car park. We fully understand how frustrating it must have been to wait at the intercom, especially when direct access to the hotel was one of the reasons you chose to stay with us. The intercom system has unfortunately not been functioning as reliably as it should, which can result in calls not always being heard or answered promptly. We are currently reviewing this situation to improve the experience for our guests and avoid similar frustrations in the future. We also regret any confusion caused by the different explanations you received. Good to have a secure underground car park (operated by others) with access direct to the hotel (the reason we booked this hotel). Unfortunately the hotel staff don't release the door from the garage despite ringing the intercom for 15 minutes. Was given three different "reasons": 1. We're very busy and don't have time to press the button, and you can walk round! (from "B."); 2. We know, there's a problem with the control; 3. It's not our car park. There's a keypad on the door thy could give the code for to guests, or install a hotel room card reader, or just answer the intercom!
