Remote check-in screen didn't work, and whoever answered the emergency phone didn't believe me...!?! When it was finally remotely restarted it was Very confusing and difficult to navigate. Took 30mins to get room access code ! Room ridiculously small, after the third night of 4 the novelty wore off and it became oppressive - and this was a premium en suit room ! Nowhere to unpack clothes or even leave your bags really, smallest shower room i have ever seen or used, and i've been to Japan ! Icey draft from beneath heater panel. Clean, but want an extra £3 for a bath towel in order to save the environment !?! yea right. Friendly day staff. Basic but decent buffet breakfast, as much as you can eat and until 10.30am. Just one piece of mouldy French bread encountered. There is absolutely no swimming pool as some websites suggest and the basis i booked on !

We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. When the reception is closed, you can collect your room from the distributor. The area of ​​our rooms is mentioned on our different booking site with the illsutration thereof, we are confused because the images presented on the net reflect exactly what we have offered. You were not billed for the € 3 towel because we are the last F1 hotel in France to provide them free of charge in the room, so we are not concerned. To finish on the supposed swimming pool, always redirect to the official site, we are not responsible for foreign sites. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of. Sincerely,

soundproofing a real issue

The hotel itself was basic but OK - however, when I tried to sleep I was woken at 2 am by people talking in a room about 3 down from me. I could hear them - and they were that loud they had woken me from deep sleep. I had gone to bed early - 10.30 pm - as I was getting up at 6 am to continue my journey. The talking continued virtually all night long and I had a very broken night's sleep. I have not had such a bad experience with sound proofing in any hotel before this, so I was very surprised and not pleased.

Good comfortable room with shower . Once again friendly staff. Very sympathetic. It is possible to get about Lille by Bus and too Armentieres easily IT is not easy to cross the border into Belgium. Change bus companies . At le BIZET. 2 hourly bus service to Ypres via St Philibert. But Armistice Services Difficult in Ypres and Paschendeale as they seem to mainly start in the evening.

First, I need to thank you the chief Receptionist for his flexibility because I check-in after 9.00pm Second, It is a good idea to implemented a night manger / security. It's really helpful. Third, I was really disappointed with the new bed design. Why you force me to sleep in the same bed with my wife and my 14 YO daughter???? I have to choice your second option: 3 individual beds Are you new Military facility base???? You recruit designers how doesn't have hospitality vision and knowledge. You make the same mistake as Renault during 21 century: you recruit designers how design for themselves but with keeping in consideration guest and experience point of view. FYI: Renault walk-up and change the entire designer office to recruit designers how knows French mentality.

The wall paper is horrendous, the renovation amounts to a coat of paint. The new plastic in the toilets and showers are appreciated. You stay at an F1 because it is cheap - not because it is renovated.

The reception was very helpful and was able to recommend many good places for an evening meal, the bedroom was very clean and extremely comfortable, everything you require for a restful night. The en-suite room was perfect for me, I don't like to share bathrooms.
