Fantastic to have air-conditioning in the room but after that, the stay went downhill. No fridge or kettle in the room. They had mattress covers that felt like you were sleeping on a plastic bag. Pool was closed when we arrived at 2pm due to cleaning. Dinner was again disturbed by irritating loud pop music. The dessert cheese board was a piece of cheddar, a piece of brie and something else. Breakfast the next morning had a better selection of cheeses than the dessert. As for the breakfast itself, no warm food served and only a small simple selection .... very poor.

Regarding the absence of a kettle in the room, this is indeed part of the ibis Styles concept. However, water fountains are available on each floor for our guests' convenience. Concerning the swimming pool, we apologize for its temporary closure upon your arrival. Regular maintenance and cleaning are essential to ensure the safety and comfort of all our guests. We also take note of your comments regarding the cheese plate served at dinner. We are sorry that it did not meet your expectations and will pass your feedback on to our restaurant team for review. Regarding breakfast, the ibis Styles breakfast is designed around a cold buffet offer in accordance with the standards defined by the Accor brand. Had a pleasant stay for a good price. Perfectly located if you need a hotel in the south of Belgium or en route to Paris.

I didn’t have one. I had to cancel due to injury and you would not even let me move the booking to another date. Very, very unhelpful.

Following a review of your reservation, we confirm that the rate chosen for your stay was a prepaid, non-refundable, non-cancellable and non-modifiable rate. As a result, our colleagues were unfortunately unable to modify or postpone the booking, as we are required to respect the agreed booking and payment conditions. For greater flexibility, we recommend selecting a flexible rate for future reservations. Good basic accommodation for 1 or 2 nights with friendly staff. A fridge in the room would have been a good addition.
