We stayed over for one night at the Wasquehal Ibis Budget and it was broadly fine. Positives are the car park right outside and the auto check in system worked. The bed and bathroom were both decent enough. The room and facilities could do with a bit of maintenance - a skirting board was placed rather than attached to the wall, the tv remote was dead and none of the room light controls next to the beds worked. Pretty standard gripes for a budget hotel really.

Globally OK, and we had come to this hotel at least 2 times before (in 2024 then 2025). But this when entering the room, as no towel was there we had to ask for them at the hotel's reception. (I'm glad that at the time we arrived at the end of the day there was still someone at the reception).

Rooms need some love, a bit scruffy. Coffee machine only takes coins which is very inconvenient.

This hotel is basic but functional. The room was clean and tidy with bedding and towels. The heater worked well though the side lights did not but we did not approach reception with this comment. The shower was useable but not as expected and did find water outside the door however despite this there was always hot water. Breakfast was included there was a small continental selection but it was fresh and enough. Staff encountered were polite and spoke reasonable english. There are 2 resturants a short walk from the hotel plus a large supermarket complex and macdonalds about 10 minutes walk away. We walked to the tram which took about 20minutes it was easy enough to find and access into Lille was frequent.

Only because I've been here before, the motel is easy to find. It's just off the motorway, and is very centrally located with a huge Carrefour, a petrol station and a McDonalds nearby. The motel is very quiet- it has a gated entrance after darkness so cars are secure. The 'bathroom' is very small but necessarily so. Lovely hot water in the shower. There is a lovely young man on Reception with whom I had an interesting conversation about Wales, my country. There is a canal (Grand Cottignes) just outside the motel which is part of an interesting locks system. People walk their dogs, cycle, or simply take exercise along the path on both sides of the canal. One drawback for me was being woken up very, very early by the bins being collected and emptied. Perhaps this is because my room was on that side of the building, but it was very early and I'm sure it woke up a lot of guests. Will happily stay here again when in the area.

Les lits sont assez confortables et la chambre était propre. En revanche une chaleur étouffante car pas de clim ni de ventilateur, et du bruit toute la nuit avec la fenêtre ouverte à cause de l'autoroute à proximité. Pas de savon dans la salle de bain et le support de la douche était cassé.
