An old hotel in bad need of renovation. The room was ugly and felt quite grimy. There were stains on the carpet and it wasn't clean enough to feel comfortable walking on bare-foot. The bathroom door didn't close properly, and the sofa in the room had so little cushioning left that you felt the metal frame when you sat on it. The breakfast was fine, and reasonable value. I was very glad to be only staying for one night.

Convenient for travel to Sydney Airport

The hotel is conveniently located within easy walking distance from Mascot station and the shuttle bus to the airport works well. However it is in dire need of refurbishment as the carpet in the rooms is very stained and needs replacing.

Hotel works, but buffet breakfast needs improvement

Was staying for work. I normally stay in Mascot between 4 - 6 times a year. Unfortunately the Buffet breakfast was not great. Scrabbled eggs, burnt pieces all through it. For $32 it was very disappointing, therefore only had breakfast in the hotel once. Other hotels in Mascot, the buffet is approximately that price, but the standard of the food is much higher at the other hotels, fruit is fresher, even a loaf of sour dough...

Booked for one night and confirmation email had wrong date. Tried calling immediately (but no answer) and sent them an email but they refused to change the booking to the correct night and refused to provide a refund. Ended up going to the Novatel instead.
