Tried to rebook but no one answered the phone after trying several times.

Reception team has been trying their best to accommodate all queries, but obviously we fell short this time and I am sincerely sorry for that. At short notice I needed accommodation overnight at Sydney Domestic Terminal. I had already booked a stay on 10.4.20 at the Ibis which the overseas trip re this booking had been cancelled due to Covid-19. Whilst before I departed home I did call and leave messages on the phone twice to change my stay from 10.4 to 19.3.20, I realise that day with all of the changes and issues going on, when I arrived in Sydney, I pulled into the hotel before I travelled north & spoke to one of the staff to change my booking date. (Bhisap or something similar was his name) He was so very helpful and changed it immediately for the next night for me to stay. Thanks for that.

Is a budget hotel that is very convenient and comfortable. Rooms are very basic but importantly clean and quiet which equates to a good nights sleep.

I was booked to stay on the 18th of March, amidst the current virus situation and travel bans I was forced to cancel my pending holiday on the Monday before check in. I attempted to call the hotel on several occasions and left a message twice, I also emailed with no reply, no one has contacted me in any capacity until now. I wanted to cancel my booked night. As an Accor member I’m highly disappointed by the lack of communication . I contacted two other Accor hotels at which I was also booked in New Zealand and they very swiftly answered phones and allowed me to cancel my accommodation giving me a credit. I couldn’t even get a return phone call or email from your property. I would like this to be taken seriously and I would like a response ASAP as to my options available.

The room was clean and everything worked well. The room is basic and small but functional. The check-in / check-out process was easy and quick. We had our evening meal next door at the Mantra next door and this was very good. This is our usual place to stay when we fly out of Sydney. I usually book through booking.com but this time directly using yoour website. I was surprised and a little disappointed to see that I could have booked cheaper on booking.com.

I stayed ibis budget paid $35 for parking then stayed. mantra Darwin paid $15 per night so $60 for parking then back to ibis budget Sydney airport for 2 nights $70 for parking again. On top of $1,200+ for accomodation $195 for parking, signs all around property said display parking pass or be towed away. Cars parked in disabled parking bay no disability permit and no parking pass. Told by reception that it could be staffed or it’s not patrolled so why did I have to pay $195 extra

At Ibis Budget, Please rest assured that all elements of your feedback will be reviewed and forwarded to the reliant departments. Regarding the parking rule, since our hotel is managed by Sydney Airport, parking fees are also part of the information that Reception do need to advise all the guests. Car park audits are done randomly by airport representative, thus we also don't know when an unregistered vehicle could get a ticket. In this case, I do believe that receptionists did their job, though the fact is that parking in Sydney are more pricey than anywhere else in the country. In other words, there's a good package for long-term parking here, which is $99/week. I trust it will definitely help for your future long getaway trip. Checkin and out was fairly efficient. The bathroom had a dingy odor and reminded me of a locker room. Overall, the hotel provided a convenient but no frills stay.
