This was a very bare bones stay. You definitely get what you pay for which is not a lot. The carpet in my room smelled like cigarettes but the bed was clean. Walls are completely scuffed with several dents. In need of a serious paint job. Lights are harsh

i tried ringing reception twice at 9pm with no answer. the noise from people dragging bags etc all night could be heard. the room was not dark even with the blinds pulled. the name similarities of names between of Ibis Budget Sydney Airport and Ibis Sydney Airport within short distance of each other caused confusion and a mixup with my booking

Whilst the hotel was conveniently located, i was disappointed with the room that is clearly needing a facelift. The paint was peeling off the walls and it just had a shabby, tired look about it

The staff were amazing, I received an upgraded room for free, the location is great next to the airport, however, the parking is a shocker, parking is advertised, however, “parking” is about 2-3 rows of 6 parks each on some kind of first come first served basis and once those few spots have been taken by other guests cars it’s kind of….. Everyone for themselves I guess….. I ended up having to park at the airport parking itself and then walking back to the hotel after already paying for “parking” at the hotel. The lifts were old, in need of some TLC and all smelt like: Body odour + feet.
