While the initial booking the manager tried to assist with our room, every other staff member that we dealt with was incompetent. Had to ask the staff member booking us every detail as they weren't able to communicate whether my accor advantages had been applie.d Then after the 20min taken to check in I had to return to gain the WiFi access and drink vouchers they still forgot. This experience was so bad that I will be removing my accor membership. We were transferred from the Pullman due to COVID, no confirmation documents provided. Our rooms were ok, beds were ordinary. Then the service was terrible. Dinner the food was subpar. Orderred our drinks and received the wrong beer, where response was a animated "woah, what's that" instead of the polite sorry. Then on check out, I asked for a receipt 3 times, only to have to ask for a manager to correct over $200 on incorrect chargers, with no application of my accor advantage plus card made the room following the previous advice. Just horrible.

Arrived late in evening, chef agreed to cook a light meal for us, bed was comfortable and Breakfast was also beautiful

We stayed overnight for an early morning flight. Price of overnight stay was what attracted us to the Mantra through our Qantas booking and we are now glad we booked. Happy with facilities, location and friendly staff.

Location was ideal for an early morning flight the following day. Friendly welcome & farewell upon departure. Comfortable room with all necessities. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a convenient stay before or after a flight

The stay was great. The room and shower exceeded expectations however I was rather unsettled when I found half a dozen toenail clippings on the chair of my desk. I thought this was rather substandard.

Checking in was very difficult. Besides both of us wearing masks and a perspex screen, the bar was located right next to the check. Just a few people at the bar would create enough noise to interrupt check in. I finally got to my room and tried to find info about the restaurant and where it was located. The online help said because of reduced capacity, to make a reservation. I tried to call the restaurant but didn't get an answer. So after struggling at check in I went to bed hungry. At least the check in staff were friendly/

Rooms are particularly small, inadequate wardrobe space. The restaurant menu was very limited and the restaurant space was adjacent to reception and quite noisy. Staff were friendly and helpful

If you need to get a plane early in the morning in Sydney this hotel will fit the bill! We are Accor members which gives you that little bit extra ie 2 free drinks and half price meal at night. Regardless the check in process and service was excellent. The food was also of a high standard both for the evening meal and breakfast best scrambled eggs I have had for a long time!

Reception only checked me in for one night - I had a 2 night stay. Key card was disabled when I returned to room on day 2. Always frustrating and unnecessary. Room ok but no wardrobe, coat hangers on wall. TV system is painfully slow in selecting channels and only Free to Air channels.

Although only free to air TV channels available at property, we did install a chrome cast function allowing guests to stream their own entertainment on to the TV. While we endure this pandemic it would be easy to let service and going above beyond slide. But this was definitely not the case with the Mantra at Sydney airport. I arrived on Friday evening was greeted by friendly staff assisting with the requirements for COVID safe etc. When I can down for dinner I ordered and waited for my food and drink which arrived. I had forgotten to show the host my Accor gold card and complementary drinks voucher. As I was checking out I mentioned that I had forgotten to show the host and the lady at the reception it had already been taken care of. Well done!
