This is an ok hotel for 1 night but wouldn’t stay longer than that. The lead in rooms are modern and comfortable but very very small - fine if you’re travelling single but cramped if there are 2 of you. Also ask for a room facing the airport and not the road. Even with double glazing we needed ear plugs and eventually sleeping tablets to get any rest. The noise of the traffic was the worst I’ve had in any hotel in Australia (we were on the top level facing the road) There is no gym but a really nice restaurant and bar.

The Mantra at Sydney airport is clean and not too expensive for a hotel close to the airport. The reception staff are very helpful. The only compliant was the walls in my room needed a clean. Walking to the Mantra is difficult with luggage. Constant building works with a very uneven and unsafe footpath which is not the fault of the hotel. Thankfully there is an airport shuttle from the Mantra to all terminals at only $12 per person.

Great layover stay

We had an 8 hour layover between the red eye flights. Mantra was great for us to catch up on sleep and shower between the two. Walkable from the domestic terminal and an easy shuttle to international. Check in was easy and they accommodated our late check-out request

It was a last minute booking as our delayed flight caused us to miss a connecting flight. Needing a bed for the night and a meal we booked a room through Accor online and were relieved that a room was available at short notice.
