Booked to stay in the Mantra and was informed less than 24 hours from my booking, that I was being moved to a different hotel. This whole process was very unclear and I was unsure as to why my options were. They booked me in a budget hotel, which they had no previous contact with, and I was asked to pay $99 for my stay when i had already paid $140 to stay at the mantra. When I submitted a complaint for a refund, the Mantra hotel proceeded to reimburse me only $25. Very unprofessional.

On arriving at 9:00 p.m., I was told that the Mantra was now a quarantine hotel, and I'd be staying next door at the Ibis Budget Hotel. The bed was clean and comfortable; there were no amenities to speak of; and I probably should be grateful to have had a bed. But it was definitely NOT worth the $150. I had paid to stay at the Mantra. Someone owes me something....

We were forced to move from the mantra to the substandard budget hotel next door.

The hotel was well located but rooms were somewhat outdated/ rundown and quite small. Dinner quality was poor and no early breakfast options for passengers going to the airport with again limited to no breakfast options . Front desk staff were lovely.

Overall happy with hotel and staff . The only thing I was disappointed in was the confusion to where the shuttle bus was to take me to hotel . I know I wasn’t the only one confused as another patron also couldn’t find . This should of been better explained when I initially asked when booking room and perhaps better signage at airport . I had to walk in rain with 3 suitcases, a laptop and handbag. Taxis wouldn’t take me as too short a taxi ride. The receptionist was super apologetic and quick to get me settled into a room . The heater in room was not working but staff were less than 5 mins to bring me a portable heater . However the shuttle bus was arranged with no problem the next day to airport .

Was a pleasant stay, Staff where great and check in was smooth and polite, However i was very disapointed in the water being luke warm, was looking forward to a hot relaxing shower which was not what i got. After returning from a couple of long flights it would of been nice to have a hot shower which is one of the convenience, i paid for. i feel some sort of compensation for my next stay with the accor group would be a great gesture as i love the accor group and have always stayed in, myself or with my partner all over Australia. I thankyou for letting me give my feed back and look forward to hearing from you soon.

I kept waking up cold. Only one flimsy blanket on the bed and no spares in the cupboard. The room was also cold. Can I also suggest a couple of hot chocolate sachets for children.

I stayed here for one night before an international flight out in the morning. Despite Sydney's lockdown and therefore limited service, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again.

I recently stayed at Mantra during a stop over as Sydney hardened it's lock down. I've stayed here before and the service is excellent. This time however was different with limited services - but a shout out to the team, they were all visibly compliant with COVID rules and actively demonstrating their concern for the safety of guests and themselves. Credit too to the GM who was out working the coffee machine while staff weren't allowed to come in to work - Great atmosphere, comfortable beds, excellent views over the runways.
