About a ten minute walk from domestic terminal. Not covered walkway. Hotel clean. Front counter staff very helpful and obliging. Offered me a late check out, an extra hour, very much appreciated. The only problem was my account. After returning to uk I noticed I had been charged $87.00 on my credit card for dinner and drinks I never had or signed for. It took 4 e mails and a long distance phone call but eventually I was promised a refund. Apart from that one problem everything else was as expected from an airport hotel.

Check-in attendant was friendly and welcoming and the process was quick and easy. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the location is very convenient - an easy walk to the domestic terminals and a short taxi or shuttle to the international terminal. Taxi is preferred for cleanliness.

Poor check in, elevator broken, no minibar items despite buying price list, no room service menu, when i ordered a toasted sandwich took 40 mins to arrive.

Having a shower and the bathroom flooded water not going down the plug hole coming up from the other plug in bathroom. The room was over priced for what you got (4 coat hangers no wardrobe). Very disappointing. Got a cup of coffee in the bar area and the person behind the bar filled it up with cold water.

We arrived at the hotel, to find it in total darkness after an exhausting 5 hour delayed flight into Sydney.. Our taxi driver remarked YOUR HOTEL HAS GONE TO BED ! No, a total blackout. We were greeted in a friendly and professional manner In total darkness. Checked in and shown to our room via torchlight. The first room had a QUEEN BED We had requested 2 single beds. No problem to change rooms, still in the dark. Our experience was incredible given the circumstances.

second night a disaster

On arrival about 9:20 pm my door key did not work so back to reception. Key worked then back up to my room 413 to find all my personal items left there in the morning had been removed. Back to reception told them about my situation, the desk receptionist went looking came back to say "go to your room and when we find your items we will bring them up". 20 minutes later a young lady was at the door with my items plus a bag of "stuff" from room 403. I should not be charged for that night's accommodation. Very frustrating experience. My medical pills were of great concern to me.

No compensation for lost power.

The hotel lost power shortly after we checked in. Power wasn't restored until almost midnight. As a result, there was no food service available, no television, no wifi, etc. during most of our stay. No offer of compensation from the hotel for this inconvenience and reduced service.

I think the staff were terrific. The room was clean. My early morning call was great. Curtains blocked light which was helpful. Pillows were too thick. I would suggest a variety of thicknesses (it took me ages to go to sleep because I had to find an alternate by taking an insert out of a cushion and wrapping it with a towel). There are 4 pillows make 2 thick and 2 thin then people can choose! The bedside lights were loose and did not work. But overall a good stay.

Perfect for an early flight from domestic. Shuttle bus available for transfer. Two single beds were provided as requested. Surprised to see towels were not already in room but we’re quickly supplied upon request.
