Good stay but reception staff should be better trained

Love this hotel for elegant rooms and proximity to the airport. However, reception staff have issues with upgrades for Platinum members thinking that an upgrade to an Executive room is an upgrade. It is not as Platinum members have access to the Executive Lounge anyway, being the only difference between Executive and Standard rooms.

Good Location but poor dining

The stay and room was very nice, but was marred by our experience with the dining room food/service. We had to ask multiple times for the check and waiters,etc were just milling around with only a minimal guest load. My wife and I would not choose to eat with this location again and unfortunately spoiled an otherwise nice experience.

We loved the clean up to date design of the rooms; all space is useable space. The room felt roomy, though. The beds were hard but so were the pillows. We asked for soft feather pillows, but with two tries, we were brought even harder pillows. But, it’s a problem with most hotels other than the Four Seasons in Sydney. This was an easy place to stay when just an overnight is needed close to the airport. The food was good. No free breakfast, but that was ok, too. Again, the rooms were clean. The bathroom, especially, was clean. The front desk was overworked so we believe that was why we could not get a soft pillow either. However, it’s an easy and clean place to stay overnight for a next day flight.
