No Diamond membership recognition or benefits provided despite if being an eligible rate. No mention of a room upgrade and no welcome amenity. Presume as usual system issues that cant determine if its an eligible rate or not so instead of investigating seems staff just chose to give nothing. Disappointing considering how much money one has to spend a year with Accor to achieve Diamond. Other hotel brands dont have these continued system issues which constantly impact recognition and guest experience.

For such a brief stay, my husband and I found it a very enjoyable experience. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed a lovely meal with wine at the restaurant.

Nice lobby area and room itself was decent. Bathrooms are horrible and extremely dated - shower was tiny and water went everywhere. Price isn't reflective of such a dated hotel

Arrived SYD on an overnight flight. After arriving at the hotel about 8am, I politely asked if there was early check in available (as a Gold member). I booked a Executive King room, and was told by receptionist my room type isn’t available, have to pay $60 extra for Early check in to a 2 Queen room, or come back after 2pm. Thought I appreciated the upgraded Deluxe room. I would have appreciated an early check in more than the upgraded room type.

In regard to your comments about the early check-in fee, please allow me to clarify that early check-in is offered to guests who request access to their room prior to the standard check-in time of 2:00 PM. Rather than requiring guests to reserve the room from the night before and incur the cost of an additional night’s accommodation, we provide this option for a small additional fee. We sincerely apologise that, despite recognising your Gold Membership and our best efforts to accommodate your request, we were unable to offer an early check-in on this occasion. Due to the hotel being heavily booked, room availability was unfortunately limited. We truly regret any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your understanding. I had a very pleasant stay at Novotel Sydney International Airport. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming, and the check‑in process was quick and easy. The team was very accommodating, which made the arrival experience stress‑free. The room itself was of high quality and comfortable; however, the bathroom in particular could use some TLC and would benefit from an upgrade to better match the overall standard of the hotel. The location is excellent, with very easy access to the airport, making it a great choice for travellers. With a few updates, especially to the rooms, this hotel would easily reach a full five‑star experience.
