For the price I was a little disappointed at the cleanliness of the room and some of the simple luxuries I would normally expect from Novotel. The room appeared to have mould stains on the grouting in the bathroom, the fan didn't work in there either which for a double room for 4 people is a bit rough. Simple things too, Nescafe 43 for a $300 per night plus hotel and not capsule seems weird and not being able to lock out the rollers on the bed was frustrating. Leaning against the bed head having a morning cup of coffee in bed would see you falling into the abyss haha. I didn't interact with the staff but I'm sure they were lovely, they all seemed very smiley. The main issue was the bathroom it was quite gross. I was disappointed I didn't get my Accor gold benefits whilst booking through AMEX but that's not the hotels fault. No free airport shuttle seems a bit of a miss too, get an EV van and use it as a billboard for the hotel or other businesses, it will pay for itself!

This is a nice, reasonably-priced hotel near the airport. Staff are friendly, the rooms are nice, and the food is reasonable and reasonably priced. It was a 20-minute walk from the International Terminal at the Airport. The next morning, I had a 7-minute walk to the Walli Creek train station to go into the city.
