Nice staff but very dated and dirty bathroom

The staff at reception and the bar were lovely and friendly and helpful. The room was good and comfortable. We did have to have someone come and override the aircon because we couldn’t change it and it was ridiculously hot. Just the bathroom felt very dirty and grotty. Some parts just need a proper clean (like the bath tub and shower) other parts need much more attention. The paint job over the bathroom door area was awful and there are weird things that look so worn out and grotty like the weird dirt behind the toilet and the awful grate in the side of the bath. I felt dirtier from using the shower. There is no ventilation in the bathroom at all. This hotel is close to the airport and convenient in that way, but would never stay longer than one night.
