Even though I had a room upgrade I was disappointed with the state of the room. The bathroom door was rotting from the bottom with the paint peeling. Because the shower screen was not large enough the water went all over the floor and it took two towels to soak it up. The plug in the basin did not work. I had no tv remote, the heating cooling system did not work properly. The hairdryer had to be replaced as it was faulty.. I could not believe that I had to cross the road to a different building to use the pool. The staff were lovely so I can’t fault that. I had stayed at the Novatel Brisbane Airport Hotel the previous night with no difficulties no faults a pool in the building much more modern and clean facilities and $100 less a night so to have paid all that money to get the poor quality that I did was very very disappointing

Hotel is conveniently located to the international airport. We have stayed at others near the airport but the standout with this one is the restaurant. Our evening meal was great and the breakfast very good with freshly squeezed juices and a good selection of other items.

Thanks for a great stay - room and bed were very comfortable and staff were overall very welcoming and friendly. I ate several meals in the hotel including meeting catering and all the food was good and spaces pleasant and clean. The pool/gym area was a little awkward to get to, pool wasn’t completely clean/filtered and I was surprised at the minimal showering and changing facilities available, but you can’t beat the view from the pool! I did want to say, when I was leaving the hotel at the end of my meetings (approx 3:30pm on 5th) there was a very gracious staff member at the desk who seemed to be dealing with an upset guest who was checking in. The guest was perhaps upset that there wasn’t a ride automatically organised for her to get to the hotel? I couldn’t tell exactly what her complaint was because I arrived after she’d already been there for a little while, but I did want to say the young lady assisting with check in was exemplary in her patience and handling of the situation. Just in case the cranky lady had any complaint, it’s worth noting the reception staff were kind and helpful toward her!

Couldn't fault my stay. The location is convenient.The amenities are great! The restaurant had delicious food and excellent service.The room is comfortable and clean.All the staff were super friendly and attentive and I honestly would love to stay again!
