We had just come off a cruise ship, had to self isolate until we flew home the next day. The hotel staff were superb. Understanding and very very helpful. The isolation pack, contents of which we are still using, was very very useful

The booking manager I’m sorry I can’t think of her name made sure our booking was there despite us coming from Fiji! She even rang to say not for us to panic and made us feel so welcome! The staff the night we got there was wonderful and at no time were we treated like a leper with all the coronavirus hysteria! I truly want to thank them for that! We stayed at this motel the night before our flight and have booked again in October for another holiday! Hopefully the virus will be a thing of he past by then! Again thank you for hiring the best staff ever!

It is such a difficult time for many businesses at the moment but I found the staff this particular stay to be particularly kind, empathetic and helpful. My only recommendation is an availability of vegan meals, which are not highly processed, pre- made meals, on the menu please!

We were directed by the Australian Border Force to leave the country on March 19. Consequently we did not stay at the hotel I realize that our reservation was non refundable but based on the situation it would be nice if we could get a refund since the no show was out of our control. Lawrence S.

I have reviewed your reservation as requested and I would like to explain that the reason we did not offer a refund or hotel credit was because you did not contact our hotel. As we had no way of knowing that you would not be arriving, the reservation automatically rolled on to a 'no-show' status. As a gesture of goodwill, and given the unfortunate circumstances we all find ourselves in, I have processed the refund of $287AUD on your Visa credit card ending in 6179. Everything went quite well we had checked in early and Arlene had gotten us into a room early and did not make us wait until check in time which was great! The room looked great the hotel also looked great and very quiet for being so close to the airport. The dining facility was nice and so was the food. And I cannot say enough about the entire staff as everyone was very cordial and helpful. My only negative comment is the room was warm and would not cool down to an acceptable level and it appears that it is a regular problem as we found an oscillating fan in the closet which we quickly turned on and help make the room more tolerable. I should have said something but we were only staying the one night so I say we sucked it up. Otherwise I would have given you a score of 10. Room number was 729.

We stayed at the Novotel Sydney Airport a few times as we live outside of Sydney, and it is very convenient to stay at the hotel the night before departure and pick up our car when we return. The location, staff, and amenities are all very good. The shuttle service is also good, however can be improved by increasing the frequency of services as we waited almost an hour at the airport for the shuttle to take us back to the hotel to collect our car.

Whilst we are pleased to read that you enjoyed a comfortable stay, and found the hotel's location convenient for your travel needs, I am sorry to hear that elements of your stay fell below expectation. Eros, I am sorry to hear that you did not find the 'Stay, Park & fly' package to be good value for money. This package is designed for guests who will require long-term car parking, and is recommended for 7 nights of parking - if not more. However, given that you have stayed for two nights - this would have still worked out to be cheaper than paying for one nights accommodation (as one night was your complimentary night), in addition to two night's car parking. I have, however, shared your concerns with our Reservations Manager for her review on this occasion. I would also recommend that you contact our in-house reservations team when making future bookings, where you may require additional assistance. Furthermore, whilst I appreciate your feedback regarding the shuttle bus service and scheduled frequency, I wish to advise you that Sydney Super Shuttle is a third-party company, and is not operated by our hotel. However, your feedback is of utmost importance to us, and I will be sure to convey your concerns to our management team.
