Stayed three nights at the Novotel Sydney Airport as our swan song after three month house exchange in NSW. Greeted by very friendly and helpful staff , to be told of a room upgrade and found a platter of fresh fruit and some sparkling mineral water in the room, due to being randomly selected as” guest of the day.” Very comfortable modern hotel with a nice ambience. Universally helpful and friendly staff and great breakfast. Bar food good too. Rooftop pool in neighbouring building was warm and very relaxing. All in all this was the best Novotel we’ve stayed in

We particularly loved the children's corner with an inviting selection of children's toys, books and entertainment (game on the tv screen).

Comfortable beds & great pillows, quiet. Nice breakfast. Excellent staff. Slight sewer smell in the room which went after the shower had been used. Fridge was locked so unable to use. We'd booked the room for three but there were only 2 cups & 2 glasses.

Arrived at reception just after a contingent of Northern Territory firefighters. Bit of a jam to check in. Didn’t mind one iota. Grateful for their local assistance. My plans for the night changed due to an invitation to go to see an American comedian, Tosh.O. Returned to use the complimentary drinks before retiring for the night. Checkout was a breeze and the short drive to the International terminal to meet my wife. Smooth as.

This was our last stop in Australia before heading home to Canada. Was a nice place to get a good nights rest and breakfast before the long trip home. The beds were comfortable the rooms were clean and very nice.

It is absolutely beautiful in terms of ease of transportation to the airport ... The only trouble is the traffic that can sometimes cause you to miss your plane in cities like Sydney ... ideal to ensure you make the most of your time, thank you. And coffee is nice.

At the check in I forgot my travel wallet at the desk without noticing it. After 2 hours after the check in, that I spent that time in my room, I realized I lost it and went 2 times to the desk front, plus I called one time, to check if they have seen it or if I forgot there. All the times they said they didn't see anytime in an indifferent way. Since I was traveling internationally the next day (and my passport plus my credit cards were inside my travel wallet), I was desesperatly trying to find it since it was nowhere, not even in my room. One more time I went to the front desk and saw they have a camera. When I asked to see the videos when I did the check in, they called the lady who did the check in for me (she have left already) and she said that she put on a drawer. Ok, great they find it. However, where in the world do you find a wallet (that you know the guest forgot mistakenly) and put on a drawer and don't notice or even call the guest room to let her know? We call the front desk people the attention, but their answers just follow a script. It's just human decency to let someone know they're forgot their wallet and not just to put in a drawer. It's not hard to pick up the phone and call the room number and say "hey you forgot your wallet". For Christ Sake, this hotel it's supposed to have a minimum of core values and respect for their guest. Sincerely, I wouldn't expect this behavior from staff of this hotel, not even from people from Australia. So sad.
