Parking is a nightmare

Parking is initially confusing, then it becomes a nightmare. Bed and bathroom need upgrades.

We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences related to parking and room conditions during your visit. As for parking, we recommend clarifying that it is part of the complex and is operated by a third party company. However, we are committed to evaluating how we can improve signage to facilitate our guests' experience. Furthermore, we are aware of your comments regarding the comfort of the bed, bathroom conditions, quality of the shower and towels. We inform you that we are already in the process of purchasing new linen to ensure a significant improvement in these aspects. We appreciate your patience and understanding. In my opinion this property is not up to the expected standards of a Mercure property. It’s old, tired and in desperate need of renovation. It’s barely an Ibis with larger rooms. I expected more.

Nice and quiet location

This is a nice hotel in a quiet, yet central location. The staff, especially at the restaurant was phenomenal! They were warm, friendly and very professional. Something you rarely see in the service industry nowadays. A+ for the breakfast buffet. It was really good. Be sure to try the "pão de queso." My only complaint is the that the bed did not have a fitted sheet, so the mattress was always exposed. Also, the towels were old and dingy. These are cosmetic things that hotel management should quickly adress and resolve. Other than that, our stay was good and I would stay there again. I highly recommend this hotel.
