This was our second stay at Mercure Hotel Offenburg am Messeplatz, and overall we had another pleasant experience. The accommodation is comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, which made our stay enjoyable once again. Welcome drink was shared without hussle as it was late evening. The rooms are spacious and provide everything needed for a relaxing visit. The staff were friendly and welcoming, contributing positively to the overall atmosphere of the hotel. However, we were a bit disappointed with the breakfast options this time, especially as vegetarians. The variety for vegetarian guests was quite limited compared to what we had expected. Despite this, we still appreciate the quality of the accommodation and would consider staying here again, hoping to see some improvements in the breakfast selection.

I have visited this hotel several times over the years. Particularly from last 2 years, the sleep is always interrupting, probably due to ventilation and room temperature. Informed at reception, they checked but same situation. You must repair the ventilation in rooms. Breakfast is good but dinner is pathetic.

I am a woman 80 years old and I especially booked your hotel because it had a restaurant Saturday evening no food possable I sat in the room and all I had was a packet of crisps not the best experience

My office mistakenly made a reservation a day earlier than they should. I picked up the error the next day on heading to the airport for a 14 hour trip to Frankfurt. I called the hotel and the person said they would gladly change the reservation for the next day (Sunday not Saturday). I rented a car and drove the nearly 2hrs to Offenburg. On arrival the front desk told me they will be charging me for the previous night, as a "no show". Explained to then that I had called and the person who answered told me "no problem" and made the change. Short story, I had to also pay for the previous night...omplete lack to customer service. For the short-term gain, they will lose me as a future guest and additionally, I will inform my company to remove Mercure from recommend hotels in the area. The food was overpriced and horrible. The deserts were much better. Had they told me they would be charging me for the night when I called, I would have stayed in Frankfurt for the night. Overall, a very bad experience.
