overall very good experience. food was great. room as well, Service friendly but needed to ask for new wine glasses , bottle of wine served without letting me taste. breakfast lady was superb friendly as well.

A lovely hotel, nice staff, the duplex room was really good for us (family). The location is stunning, easy to get to, good parking facilities, excellent breakfast. Wonderful bar and staff. I would like to make some recommendations for improvements. Check in was extremely slow, even if I checked in online beforehand. There was only one member of staff. Check in queue was 40 minutes. I had a text message to say 'your room is ready' but on arrival reception said it's automated and doesn't mean the room is ready. I feel that online check in and text messages like that is really then just a waste of time if not real time. No control in swimming pool area. It was crowded even if it had the max 16 people for covid sign. There were more people there who stayed a long time. We didn't get to use the pool at all, we kept going back to check and it was always full. A member of staff signing guests in and out is needed for that. And max 1 hour per group as 2 hours doesn't leave much time for others to use it. Dinner was appalling. We notified staff before hand that we are vegetarian. There are 2/3 menu items for adults that are vegetarian. One is a slimming salad, one is the foccacia starter with hummus and then the veggie bowl with avodaco and rice. First of all, being vegetarian or vegan doesn't mean one is a on a diet or wants cold food. There was no imagination in that menu whatsoever. For children there were NO vegetarian options. We asked if he could just have pasta and tomato sauce. The waiter said he would have to check if it is possible. Really? For the most simple meal ever! The pasta that arrived was really bad, the sauce was watery and no flavour. My son didn't touch it. The vegetarian bowl was nearly inedible. The avocado was so hard you couldn't cut into it. The rice was good with mango. The rest was just onion. The hummus trio, two were edible and the green one terrible. The focaccia bread were just a few toasted slices. If the chef is so good (as is claimed) why is he not checking the fruit and veg that comes into his kitchen? Any chef would have rejected that avocado. Get online and find some imaginative vegetarian recipes that can quickly be made vegan if necessary. Mac n cheese, every kids favourite! Add kale to it and you have a great meal for adults in winter. Risotto should be a standard option, with a seasonal addition like butternut squash, or pumpkin, or goats cheese or... Roasted vegetables with gratinated potato? Tofu salad bowl or serve it warm with rice and thai flavours? Panini bread baked with cheese a la pizza? Both kids and adults love it. Veggie burger?? Options are endless and easy to make. I'm happy to supply you with recipes. It was a huge let down to eat here and it's such a shame as the wine was great, the bread provided fantastic and the cheese platter at the end was out of this world good. Sort it out as a matter of urgency. The restaurant staff were lovely but they were not particularly on form - getting placements of people wrong, looking at an iPad for placement constantly etc. I'm not sure what was going on with them. They were kind though and our waiter was lovely and spoke many languages. Another improvement would be to provide guests with options for local walks or things to see. We were next to a forest but we didn't know where we could go for a walk. I know it's a golfing hotel but it's also an ideal location for family holidays and kids want to go in the forest, see farm animals, and have fun! It was a bit of guess work to head out with a 4 year old to walk. Just like you have signs for the golf holes you could do 1 or 2 for local walk into the forest, and a little map in the room or something like that. It's not hard to do. Overall a good place to stay, we enjoyed it and would go back if the restaurant would improve. Really, management should send a variety of secret eaters there to try it out. It is that bad.

Even though we had a room for one night, we could not get a table in the restaurant for dinner because it was fully booked. The necessity of prior booking wasn't communicated neither on the hotel's website nor in email. We had a club sandwich and hamburger in the hotel bar. Both were very bad quality.

We stayed for 1 night using our €50 vouchers from the Luxembourg government. Room was large and clean. We had twin beds, no rooms available when we booked with a king bed. One small bottle of water in the room plus coffee and tea. Towels were extremely thin and only one pillow per bed. I tried to call housekeeping and reception multiple times for 2 extra pillows with no answers. Breakfast was very good and well organised (with COVID measured in place). No handicap parking which was a pity.

Considering the money I paid for two weeks at the hotel, I still had to ask to have my doom cleaned at reception. The new restaurant was chaos at best with to few staff on duty. I used the bery expensive business rooms on four occasions and we were served left over breakfast food in croissants and pano chocolate. The WiFi is very poor and drops signal on a regular basis. Overall not value for money and feel I was over charged for the service provided.

Fantastic warm welcome from reception and good help with our questions. The location is top and room amazing ( we took a duplex ). Breakfast was great and here again the service was top. The pool and Jacuzzi area was very clean and enjoyable. We will be BACK!!!

Very slow and confusing service at the restaurant (I had to wait 1 hour and half for the first plate) and it was not possible to see the bill before paying at the checkout. I asked several time, but no way.

Two problems : 1) At the checkout, I have first to pay, and only afterward I was allowed to see the bill. I was quite surprised, but the person at the desk simply told me you have to pay first. I was with my family and I simply paid but I never saw this procedure in any hotel 2) We waited for 1 hour and a half to be served at the restaurant. The starter and main dishes arrived in a scattered way. No excuse.

We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights in a room with mezzanine level. We had 2 children with us. The aim was to relax in a nice calm area, do lots of swimming in the swimming pool and have nice meals. All this was met - the pool was lovely and surprisingly empty most of the time and the restaurant was good with great views and good food. The staff were very friendly and helpful everywhere in the whole hotel. However, there were some drawbacks. The sleeping arrangements could have been better. We arrived with 2 children who were given one very large and extremely thick duvet to share between them, this in a time when the temperatures didn't go below 20 at night. Naturally this duvet could not be used and the first night was spent largely sleepless, as there were no alternatives. For the 2nd night we managed to ask for a thinner cover and were initially given one so I had to ask for another one which was given to us, but with no sheets around it. The sofa bed was creaky and not terribly comfortable. The room was mostly quite clean, but the carpet had stains on it and could do with a deep clean. The restaurant was very busy on the 1st night, it seems that the management was caught out not expecting this - there wasn't enough staff and the ones working were clearly struggling. To compensate for a long wait, we were given free dessert which we appreciated and also the following days the staff were very efficient and helpful. Overall, despite all the above, we enjoyed our visit and would consider coming back given the few shortcomings were improved upon!

Everything was good except the fact that when we checked in nobody told us we have to ask if we wanted our room to be cleaned. In overall the check in and check out were quite a bad experience because the person didn’t care at all.

Staff extraordinary. Feeling home the entire stay. Usual place to stay for me when in Luxembourg. I appreciated also the new works being carried out, it will look yet better. The terrasse is second to none.

Was a pleasure to return back to the Hotel following the corona virus outbreak, from the director Alex to all the staff in reception, the restauraunt (Manuel, Karim,Alban, Ricardo,Lorraine, Miguel, Diana to name a few), the stay was exceptional and felt like returning back to my second home. The attention to detail in ensuring the corona virus was being managed very well was clearly visible and provided a strong feeling of being a secure environment for the guest.
