Rooms were too hot, AC not working

Dear Arthur, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are delighted to read that you enjoyed the comfort of our rooms. Regarding the temperature, we would like to point out that during the winter period, and particularly at the beginning of March, the air conditioning is not activated in line with our European Ecolabel and in keeping with the season. However, our rooms are equipped with windows that can be opened to allow our guests to ventilate and adjust the temperature to their liking during the winter. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please do not hesitate to contact our reception if this type of problem occurs again. Although the weather was not too good and the golf course was flooded, we enjoyed our stay at the Mercure Golf and Spa. We needed a break and we got one ;-)

As a regular guest, I really like the Kikuoka facility as it also has a wellness facility, which is still open after the working hours. I was disappointed that the heating of the sauna was already turned off at 20:25 in the evening, wheras it states that it remains open till 21:00.. After a long day of work, travelling, ... the wellness facility delivers relaxation, and I'm really keen on this. Thx

This is the third time we’ve stayed here, and now for the first time with my in-laws for New Year’s. We stayed for 4 nights. The previous two times we were very satisfied. This time a little less. On New Year’s Eve, I fell down the stairs and ended up with painful, swollen knees and an ankle. This happened after the New Year’s dinner, 1 hour before New Year. My husband was able to get some ice from the restaurant, but unfortunately only in a napkin. There was no ice pack or even a plastic bag available anywhere in the hotel. The reception didn’t know, and the restaurant said they only had napkins. I think having an ice pack is the least a hotel should provide.
