Generally, this was a good stay for my wife and me. The lifts definitely need an overhaul, as nearly once every day, it was impossible to get the lift to the 5/F from the G/F. The reduction of the ALL restaurant discount from 50% to 30% was unexpected!

Hi, I wanted to share feedback regarding my recent stay, as the experience fell well below the standard I expected from a 4.5-star hotel. When we arrived, the condition of the room was disappointing. The carpet was visibly stained, and the bed itself (not the bedding) was ripped and looked quite worn. It immediately set the tone that we were staying in something closer to a 2-star property rather than the quality advertised. Unfortunately, the experience overnight was even worse. Throughout the night, groups of kids were running up and down the hallways, knocking on doors, yelling, and generally causing a disturbance. When I called the front desk, there was no real interest in resolving the situation. The noise continued, and at no point did we hear anyone attempt to intervene. This complete lack of response was extremely disappointing and made for a very poor night’s sleep. There were also issues at breakfast. We had prepaid for breakfast and discussed this at check-in, but were told later when checking out that nothing was prepaid and had to prove it by supplying an email. On top of that, the advertised breakfast rate was $30 per person, but an unexpected additional surcharge was added — meaning the confirmation email was not accurate. Lastly, we booked a “family package” for 2 adults and 2 children. The two rooms assigned to us were nowhere near each other. While I accept that I may have assumed incorrectly that a family package included connecting rooms, the only solution provided was to downgrade us — with no compensation or acknowledgment of the downgrade — and I was made to feel as though asking for connecting rooms was an inconvenience. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay. I deliberately left the review title empty as I did not want this published on your public platforms; I’m providing this feedback directly in hope that this was simply an unlucky experience and that improvements can be made. Guests should be able to trust that concerns raised with the front desk will be taken seriously, and that rooms and services will reflect the rating of the hotel. Thank you for taking the time to review this feedback. I hope future guests have a much better experience.

Terrible, drove around for 45 mins to just pull up and offload. was charged double for parking and then told they would "investigate" when they made the error. staff were rude, would not recommend to anyone and our team won't be back next year
