Things are getting old. I often stay at Mantra Parramatta but this time the curtains were torn and holey, the kitchenette light didnt work and the treadmill wasnt working. The food in the bistro seemed to have also increased in price and decreased in quality. After checkout I discovered I had been charged twice for my stay. Fortunately, the manager dealt with this quickly and professionally when I got on to her. (Which took a number of times of ringing up the hotel before anyone answered the ringing). Im not sure if Ill stay there next time. I might try another hotel in the area

We’re very sorry to hear that this stay did not meet the standards you’ve come to expect from us. It’s disappointing to learn about the maintenance issues in your room, including the curtains and kitchenette lighting, as well as the non-functioning treadmill in the gym. This is not the level of comfort or upkeep we aim to provide, and your comments have been shared with our maintenance team for urgent review. We also regret the frustration caused by the double charge on your account and the difficulty reaching reception by phone. While we’re glad our manager was able to resolve this promptly once contacted, we understand how inconvenient the initial experience was, and we will be addressing responsiveness at the front desk to improve this. Your comments regarding service recognition, pricing and quality at the bistro, and in-room amenities such as teabags have also been noted and passed on to the relevant teams for review. We appreciate your honest feedback on these areas, as it helps us identify where improvements are needed. We are especially sorry to hear that this stay has affected your intention to return.
