I have stayed at Mantra Parramatta, at least half a dozen times over the past 2 years, drawn to its great location close to the station and being the most central in parramatta CBD against the other Accor properties. I should have learnt from my previous stay last last year , which was highly disappointing, however, this stay was an even worse experience. No welcome upon checkin, no ammenities in room, no mention at checkin that the bar and restaurant closed both Saturday & Sunday nights, therefore no opportunity to redeem Accor loyalty drink vouchers, no ammenities in room and the kicker was no housekeeping despite having the “make my room” card visible. I was told I would have to address my concerns with the front desk manager when checking out, and my room category was not d titled to housekeeping when I questioned this. All are very first world problems, but the standards and service at Mantra Parramatta would put this hotel firmly in the “only book for a one night stay” category. Upon addressing these issues at checkout with front desk Sophia, who did listen very well to my concerns, I still feel this property will continue on its path of cost cutting and poor customer experience.

We had only one towel (2 person staying) and no bath mat. No tea bags or milk.
