Booked an expensive room - had an eight hour drive to get to the hotel and was driving again the next day. Due to bushfires that drive took 13 hours and I arrived around midnight I was exhausted and asked for a late checkout. I was told that they had been told that there was strictly no late checkouts and the checkout would be at 10 am. The room was okay but tired as was the whole facility. I’ve been pestered with several emails to write a review, I wasn’t going to but decided in the end that I should. They’re far better places to stay in Parramatta. This one’s overrated.

I stayed for a work week and needed a home base in Parramatta. The mantra one bedroom apartment was a good fit and close to train, light rail, WSU city. Good Wi-Fi, kitchenette facilities, washing machine and dryer. However, the noise from the air conditioner was ALOT. Not just the Mantra air conditioner, which I could turn off, but the massive air conditioning units on the roofs of the surrounding buildings sounded like jet engines when you had the windows open. The pool was nice but had no loungers or anything. I imagined being able to do some work reading by the pool but it was more of an in and out situation. The breakfast was ok, not great if you have dietary complications . Recommend if you have an apartment just doing your own breakfast. I couldn't get it refunded as it was a package I booked. All in all, a good stay for me and would use it again.

Not happy at all with my experience . Hotel was dated and unclean. Staff were not accommodating and waited 20 minutes for a staff member to be present in the breakfast area or reception to sign us in for breakfast. Still waiting for our bond to be refunded , called yesterday and told it should have been there , still not in our bank . Room was not to a clean standard . Highly disappointed

We stayed over the hottest weekend since 2025. Our first room we got set up into had no working air conditioning, this was not communicated to us in the 6 months we had the room booked. I complained and got put up in a new room with a “working air conditioner”. The fan was working in the unit but it did not cool the air at all, instead just flashing fault. I complained again and their compromise was two fans and a free breakfast. This simply was not enough to cover the damage of being around on 40 degree day, what made it worse was when I asked about it turns out they had been problems with the AC for a few weeks. If I had know about this I simply would have booked somewhere else. Frankly I’m disappointed
