An unexpected $100.00 bond - unimpressed.

I was charged a bond of $100.00 upon arrival. This was greater than the fee for the room. Also, casually informed that it take up to 10 days to be repaid back onto my card. I work as a front desk/receptionist for a hotel and we do not charge a bond in case the room is damaged. Also, I know the money can repaid the same day of check out and it does not take 10 days.

I have been a 'long stay' guest at ibis Budget Campbelltown since July due to COVID-19 restrictions preventing me from heading back to Beijing. The management and all staff, knowing the stresses of the situation, have done everything possible to ensure that my stay has been as comfortable as possible. The requests that I do make are handled immediately and always in a professional and friendly manner. I actually feel like part of an extended group of friends. The room is clean, comfortable and well serviced. Throughout the past months and under the obvious restrictions that COVID-19 has imposed, every card has been taken to ensure the safety of guests. I would recommend ibis Budget Campbelltown to anyone looking for affordable accommodation.

Great nights sleep as best thing about these buildings is the concrete walls, so nice and quiet. Check in was simple especially as an Accor Member and check out was as simple as key drop. Free parking out front was super convenient. Location excellent as starting point for trip to Canberra and Hume Highway access. Room was basic as usual, clean and comfortable.

Having been in the hotel now for some 3 months, it has been very comfortable and I have been very well looked after. No-one wants to be trapped in a hotel for this long but when you have no choice, you want it to be bearable.

The room was comfortable but it did feel old and dirty. Need colour and freshness. The window unclean and hand marks from the outside. The bathroom in one corner is mouldy and the door looked like it has fungus on it.

Location was really convenient, but the room left a lot to desire. The bathroom was tiny and extremely out dated. Vanity was actually on the other side of the room next to the bed. Limited hanging, no cupboard and no ironing facility in the room. Aircon unit extremely noisy, blinds need to be replaced as they have been torn and won't lock into place from just the retractor mechanism. Consider better weighted linens, as the covers were not suitable for winter. Staff were lovely, the only reason we didn't look elsewhere after viewing the room. We won't be returning as the room wasn't up to par, despite the cheap rates we still expected better.

Good customer service i do not have an issue. The rooms were not very good 1 room had dust and cobwebs and cracks in the shower the room seriously needs to be reviewed rm 304 was the room. The bunk bed was not even made.
