We've stayed in a number of ibis budget hotels over the years for overnight stops and have always found them welcoming, helpful and reliable. Sadly, this stay was a real disappointment. The hotel and grounds were unkempt, and the whole place felt neglected. The staff looked dishevelled — as if they'd slept in their clothes — which set the tone for the visit. The hotel itself was dirty, which is not something we've ever experienced at an ibis budget before. What made us most uncomfortable was noticing, during our stay, a number of customers appearing to book rooms by the hour! It didn't feel like the family-friendly overnight stop we've come to expect from this brand. We won't be returning to this particular hotel, and we'd suggest the management take a serious look at cleanliness, presentation and the general running of the site. A real letdown from a brand we've always trusted.

This is a budget hotel for a budget price so don't expect too much. The staff are lovely and friendly and the hotel is clean and tidy. The rooms are small and VERY warm in summer with no aircon - we were given a fan from reception but it didn’t help much! No complaints tbh - you get what you pay for in life. Next time I will pay a little more and insist on a hotel with aircon.

The room was adequate but both the sink and shower drains were blocked meaning in the shower particularly, water was as everywhere as it overflowed into the room. This means that even if the room,sink and shower had been cleaned, it should have been reported. I said so to the receptionist in the morning. Ooor sanitary monitoring.

Overall, the hotel is fine for an overnight stay. It's a budget Ibis, so that's what you expect . Staff are polite and friendly. Some issues with our room (302): the door to the toilet is very squeaky and noisy, especially at night; the reading lights above the bed didn't work. We didn't have time to report these as we were only there 1 night.
