We booked this hotel for an early train trip back to Paris. Its location is perfect for this purpose but would likely stay elsewhere if visiting Orléans again. Rooms were small, beds too hard & we found it difficult to control room temperature. But it was a clean room and adequate for what we needed this time and rates were good. We did find that staff weren’t as friendly as what we usually experience in Accor hotels.

However you had booed a triple room, which measures 19m2. It is the norme for Ibis Rouge. As for the temperature, actually we put on the heating because of the cold of the night and morning. We stayed one night for a stopover en route to the south of France. Hotel was spotlessly clean but just needs a bit of updating. Woodchip on walls and rooms were quite dark. Adjoining room for our daughter was great. Breakfast was lovely. Hot and cold options. All very fresh. The best part for us was the lady on reception on Saturday 13th Sept. She was so lovely and helpful in providing us with hot food from the snack menu. Lasagne and ham and cheese gratin were piping hot, enjoyed with a drink from the bar. Nothing was too much trouble. We would stay again just for this reason. Parking on site €10 good value.

Both room and hotel were just fine, pretty normal for Ibis but was pretty expensive for what there was. Nothing wa particularly bad but nothing special either
