We stayed at Novotel Orléans on Saturday 22 August 2026 for one night as a family, and unfortunately our experience was nothing like the wonderful stay we had at this same hotel last year. We returned because we had such positive memories of the hotel, so it was genuinely disappointing to see how much the standard appeared to have declined, particularly in terms of housekeeping and room maintenance. From the moment we entered the room, there were numerous cleanliness issues. The bathroom was very dirty, the toilet was disgusting and clearly had not been cleaned to an acceptable standard, and there was even chewing gum stuck to the bedroom floor. The bathroom extractor fan was covered in dirt, the bathroom light continuously flashed throughout our stay and obviously needed replacing, the carpet had noticeable stains, and the windows were also dirty. The biggest problem, however, was that we got virtually no sleep. My daughter's bed was incredibly squeaky. Every single movement she made caused the bed to creak so loudly that it woke the rest of the family. It became impossible for any of us to sleep properly, and in the end we had no alternative but to take the mattress off the bed and place it on the floor so she could sleep. That is simply unacceptable in a four-star hotel. When you book a hotel, one of the most basic expectations is a clean room and a comfortable night's sleep. Unfortunately, we received neither. I am extremely disappointed because we genuinely enjoyed our stay here last year and expected the same level of quality when we returned. Sadly, this visit has left us questioning whether the standards at this hotel have significantly deteriorated. I hope management takes these issues seriously and addresses them, as the Novotel brand should represent a much higher standard than what we experienced during this stay.

Hotel located in a resting and calm area, you feel the difference of the quality hotel you enter. Check-in went well, received our cards for the room and proposal of making a reservation for the restaurant. Unfortunately we had to dinner much later than hoped but it was ok. At the restaurant the staff generally was friendly, the one have the new position of maître will have to pay attention to indirectly provoke discussion with the customer to prove she is right during conversation but the experience will teach her how to adjust this. the food was nice, terrace dinner next to the pool was nice because amongst others of the lighting of the pool and this kind of tent with integrated light. it is for sure a place where we'll come back.

We had a family room fit for 4 persons. The room was clean and airconditioning worked perfectly. Shower was nice and warm. There were several improvements that could have been made to the room: a working fridge would have been nice. In other ALL Accor hotels in France I stayed at, there was a free water bottle inside the working fridge, which is nice when you arrive from a hot journey. We only got one room key, which is problematic when some are staying in, while others leave, and the lights only work when the roomkey is inserted in the box on the wall. The restaurant food came quickly but was of mediocre quality (no vegetables with main course) and relatively small portion sizes.

We stop at this hotel almost every year on our drive through France. This year was the best so far. Rooms are clear with everything you need (really nice soap etc from Rituals). Pool was a nice treat after a long drive. Nearby pizza place. Staff were polite, pleasant and helpful.

We had 3 days stay and staff couldn’t be more helpful. Breakfast is chaotic which is linked to so Many families coming down at the same time however if feel the hotel could do better in organising where items are placed as it’s a arround the hot counter and could be spread.

Very tatty and damaged room. Door would not safety close, unit doors hanging off, internal doors very badly damaged. Damage to furniture and wall hangings. Stains all over the carpet and the mould and scum all around the floors and shower were disgusting. Dirty tissues left in the wardrobe further highlights the lack of interest the staff have in their work. Dinner was very low quality and very expensive for this level of hotel. In the morning breakfast was very average and the scrambled egg was cold even though it was on a heated plate. Run out of bacon and when I reported it, it took 20 mins for any arrive. This was the prime breakfast time but staff just were not fussed. Reported when we arrived and on our departure but still no communication from the hotel manager regarding my complaint. Stayed at other Novotel hotels around Paris and not had this experience.

Comfortable stay. We were staying over to continue our travel/ trip the next day. Loved the pool which provided the refresher that we needed. I found the rooms a bit outdated and not perfectly clean, but had overall a good stay-over. Personnel was very friendly.
